This hotel provided the highest quality facilities and service. They were exceptional. Our booking had been mixed up by the tour company and the staff quickly and efficiently sorted this out for us. The room was spacious and clean. The options for meals great. The Hotel was safe and welcoming.

This is an easy hotel to transit through and eases you into and out of Africa with all modern facilities. Large rooms, good meals with variety altho we would recommend the Indian dishes there which are authentic and delicious. Everything works and its all super clean. What impressed me the most however was the hotel general manager Anuj - we...

We stayed here for part of a day and one night on our way out to a safari. The staff was very accommodating, feeding us a late lunch to tide us over until dinner. The meals were all wonderful. Our rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were very nice, particularly after a long flight. The...

A very warm welcome was waiting for us at this quaint hotel. We arrived late after a long flight and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our bags were swiftly taken care of and we were given welcome drinks and face cloths. We had a few bar snacks and even though it was late, the staff were very...

A wonderful palace to stay when visiting Arusha! The room was wonderful, overlooking the garden and pool area. I had a great chill-out rights there, with a glass of wine and a good book, sitting in the window couch, enjoying the sun set. :) Spacious and beautiful room as well as the bathroom, with a HOT shower..! :) It is...

This hotel is great for those who wish to stay in the city and who would like their modern cons. Many people tell us they slept the best here as they could close their windows, stay cool and just dream. The rooms are well-appointed and there are many restaurants within walking distance.

Landing in Kilimanjaro around 10 pm, our evening stay at the African Tulip was a pleasant surprise. The room was large and spacious as was the bathroom. A hot shower and a comfortable bed was just what was needed before we started our African safari. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style, a considerable step above the standard US hotel...

Beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities. The rooms are spacious with all of the features you could need. I stayed here both before and after my summit of Kilimanjaro and it was a great place to get some much needed rest after an exhausting adventure. My only minor complaint would be the price. The Baobab restaurant is very expensive and wifi...

You would access this hotel if you are planning to hike the Kilimanjaro or go to your safari trips to the Serengeti . This is a perfect stop, with great rooms. The hotel has an old world charm to it, and also good food.

What a gem of a hotel in Arusha. Beautiful and unusually large and well-appointed rooms, engaging staff, nice combination of local and Indian food in their restaurant. Really enjoyed the stay and wish it had been longer. Grounds are beautiful and outside swimming pool looked inviting.
