Stayed here for 1 night in June before starting a safari trip. Lovely staff with a warm welcome - I found all staff in Tanzania to be incredibly polite. The grounds were nice, with the river lovely to walk by. I was quite surprised by how dramatically the temperature dropped in the evening, so be prepared to pack for the...

Helpful staff and lovely cottages with comfortable beds and beautiful mosquito net canopies. The food was okay but nothing special. The eating is mostly outdoor under the stars with an occasional monkey in the trees nearby. Very close to the airport and away from the crazy bustle of Arusha.

We loved this serene and beautiful resort with wonderful park-like grounds , comfortable accommodation, friendly staff . It is a great place to start or end a trip to Tanzania . The resort has lovely dining facilities, a large pool , blue monkeys jumping from the trees, and wifi that really works!

Wonderful stop over and definitely one of our favorite first stops to start your safari. River Trees in one of the first lodges you encounter when coming from the Kilimanjaro Airport. This quite scenic lodge is just the perfect place when you've been on a long flight and just want to rest before heading on safari. Highly recommended to all...

I've been staying elsewhere locally for work, but eating here and working from here. They have fast reliable internet, lovely food, even for a picky vegetarian, and excellent coffee. The best thing is the staff - they are a credit to the hotel. It is a beautiful spot from which to work. Thank you Rivertrees.

Thomson Safari Company recommended staying here a couple of days after a 20 hour flight and before the beginning of an incredible adventure. Although the rooms were average at best, dark and basic, the restaurant, grounds and employees made up the difference. The food was very good served from a small but very clean kitchen with a wood burning pizza oven....

Beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere, good food. We stayed 2 nights whilst waiting for our flight home. You are away from the hustle and noise from downtown Arusha and it gives you a chance to relax if you have been on the go for a period if time, as we'd been on safari for 3 weeks and a bit tired.

I stayed here for 3 nights after being in the bush for two months this winter. Upon arrival, I was greeted with cold hibiscus tea and an ice-cold wash cloth, to cool off! Then quickly ushered to my stone cottage, which was beautifully furnished. Although there was no air conditioning, a very high-powered ceiling fan placed strategically over the bed...
