We stayed at the guesthouse for two nights. Ms. Chao was very nice and attentive. She helped us with the laundry and provided good tips for food and travel. The breakfast she made was really special and tasty. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Parking was easy to find right outside the guesthouse.

We arrived at around 8pm and because of this, we had requested for the housekeeper to pick us from the train station. The cost is 120 Taiwan dollars...cheaper than taking a cab. The housekeeper, 趙小姐 was a really nice and friendly lady...very easy to get along with. And she is super helpful too. Approach her if you need anything and...

I have stayed in this place for 2 days and 2 nights (Nov 03/2015 to Nov 05/2015) with a small group of college classmates. The furniture setting is modern and the whole atmosphere is very relaxing. In the early morning, I have strolled around the outside near a lake and enjoyed the remote mountain view. At night, I must have...

Excellent atmosphere for a family or friend reunion. The friendly and knowledgeable host & hostess plus top of the line bed and breakfast are so inviting that makes you wanted to live there. Riding the host-provided bike to the near-by Qixingtan Beach (七星潭海灘)for watching sunrise or sunset was a thrilled experience. I'd recommend Guest House of Permaculture without any reservation.

This Guest House was the perfect place to stay after we spent a full day at Taroko Gorge and visited the beautiful beaches of Hualien. Mr. Lee arranged a driver that picked us (5 travelers visiting from the US) up from the train station and toured us around the area. The housekeeper, Ms. Zhao was extremely warm-hearted, kind, and helpful....

Our family want to visit 太魯閣 and decided to try this 民宿 based on previous Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed by Mr Lee's kindness and 民宿's caretaker. If you advice on what to do, they can give you wonderful suggestions and arrangement for transportation.

We stayed here in March 2014, it's a guest house run by a retired local couple , where they converted own home into a guest house. It's a 5 storey building with modern design and equipped like a hotel. I would like to highlight that the guest house even has it's own lift , which gives easy access to those...

Stayed here for a couple of nights while making a Taroko Gorge daytrip. This is a minsu, a Taiwan styled family run hostel - similar to a B&B in western terms. The good: * Good service - the manager of the gueshouse is friendly, helps with directions, cab bookings, and food suggestions. Our taxi to Taroko for the day trip...

I chose this minsu out of a few that I emailed because Mr. Lee, the owner, was the most prompt in answering my emails and numerous queries. He also helped me arrange for pick up from the train station, a taxi tour to Taroko gorge and a special breakfast request for my hubby who couldn't take congee. The minsu is...
