There something about the rooms there that makes you feel right at home. Very spacious rooms pity no wifi in rooms thou you get it at reception area. The kitchen cooks very juicy steaks. Get the nice and big breakfast with very friendly staff. I am definitely coming back

We were big group and took 8 rooms for 2 nights. Most hotels nearby were full. Positive sides: Friendly receptionist and humble staff, good rate, great inner restaurant called The Boma, they make lovely pizzas, spaghetti, salads. Had only 1 type of Wine (Pinotage), very reasonable prices. Rooms had A/c, towels, soap, shampoo (provided upon asking to reception) each room...

When we arrived at Timbali we left the car unlocked by mistake and one staff member took advantage of that and stole money from my wallet and Samsung Tablet. Make sure your cars are locked at the times.

The place is pretty. It's old and so are the furnishings but it is very comfortable. The self catering units are clean and have all you would require for cooking. It's a nice lower budget option for an easy family trip. The wifi to the rooms is not very good. They have a pretty swimming pool area as well. It's...

The establishment is old and needs some cosmetic maintenance, but this does not distract from the comfort of the lodge. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The lodge is situated in a quiet area. The Calalabash restaurant is situated at the front entrance. Breakfast is nothing lavish, but well prepared.

I stayed here 5 nights on a business trip. I have to agree the place does look a bit tired and in need of some investment, but the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, the bed was really comfortable and the Boma provided good food in a nice environment. Of the meals I had there, the...

The warning lights should have started flashing at the sight of the entrance gate with its disintegrating thatched roof. The receptionist was friendly. The grounds are poorly maintained and I had to drive through a donga to get to Room 12 at the bottom. There is a fallen tree in front of the room! The interior is very dated -...

Initial impression was good, nice entrance, smiley receptionist. We were a group of three families that booked the hotel together. It offered us two double rooms B&B and a self catered house for our biggest friends´ family. At check in tie, we asked if was possible to extend the B&B benefit to all three houses and additional guest in one...

I stayed here about 4 years ago for about 3 or 4 nights. The rooms were very good, the staff were excellent and the food was good. Try the restaurant next door, that was superb, and ask to try the local "jungle juice", boy did that give me a hangover the next day!
