My wife and I spent three nights at the Inn. Over a two week vacation we stayed at three properties. Adams Basin was the last and the last was definitely the best. The house is beautiful - not elegant but authentic to the time and location. The breakfasts were great, fresh fruits and baked goods; Pat said she loves to...

We have stayed at the Adams Basin Inn at least 5 times through the years and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Western NY region. The place is beautifully decorated and thick in history. The inn keepers are a delight to talk with and full if interesting and fun information about the house and surrounding area. We've met loads...

We had a great stay at the Inn. The room was beautiful, and the owners were so friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the Inn and of the Erie Canal. Dave has a great sense of humor too! And breakfast was delicious. We loved our time there.

If you're bicycling the Erie Canal, you deserve one fine night at this inn. Pat and Dave will welcome you with open arms, store your bike safely away, and virtually turn on the shower. Later, when you've recovered from a day on two wheels, Dave will use four to drive you to and from one of the very good restaurants...

We made last minute reservations when we decided to bike the Erie Canal towpath, and we are so glad we did. Pat and Dave are the friendliest and most interesting hosts! They helped with details with our biking, recommended a great restaurant, and shared so much about the incredible history of the inn. The property is on the National Register...
