We booked a stay by Booking.com in November 2018 at Ahuzat Kinorot for 18 people and three nights in September 2019. 10 days ago they cancelled our stay, probably because they want to earn more money because of New Year in Israel. I sent several e-mails and asked why they cancelled, but never got any answer. Be careful of this place, I think both Ahuzat and Booking.com try to cheat you. Fortunately we got a better apartement at Airbnb. We will never try Ahuzat Kinorot again. Ola and family from Norway.
We came with a famaly of five. 1. Location - far from the Sea of Galilee. Must have a car. 2. Clean - bad smell all over the place. Real backyards. 3. Visibility - nothing like the picture in the internet. 4. Very noisy even when door is close. I prefer to sleep in the car
We were meant to stay at Ahuzat Kinorot but left after ten minutes because the place was not as advertised on the internet. We asked for two adults and three children. There was no place to put the third child even though I had telephoned beforehand to check. What you don't see in the pictures is that the view includes the back of a hotel and that it is right next to a noisy apartment block. You arrive to a very steep driveway with almost no parking space. The outside deck is very weathered and looks nothing like the pictures on the internet. The swimming pool is very small. There is absolutely no privacy. Our room that we were meant to stay in opened up straight onto the swimming pool and you could look straight into the room from the pool . There were ashtrays with dirty cigarette butts . The room smelled of mold and cigarette smoke and there were stains on the walls . The area for sitting outside was very small and the barbecue was dirty and badly kept . The jacuzzi was dirty. After we saw the place and that we were victims of faulty advertising, we left after ten minutes. They still has the cheek to deduct the full amount of money from my credit card including three children ! I won't get the money back but I hope this review prevents others from being lulled into the faulty advertising of this place.…
After I got to this place is had to wait over an half an hour to get a room. At some point I realized that they don't really have any thing available although I reserved a room 2 weeks before. Yigal then told me to take room number 2 as I went into the room I realized that someone is actually in there. He then sent me to room # 8. The room was horrible with a very strong smell of cigarettes and water dripping all over.. I had to take a taxi to get to get to a better hotel.
