We stayed in this hotel with my friend for 2 days and it’s wasn’t a pleasant experience. Hotel staff thinks it’s totally okay to tell you the wrong information so you would book a room and come and they don’t care for your experience at all. We checked in advance about the hotel spa - what will be available for us and got a reply that spa services are free for hotel guests. However, they forgot to mention that all spa is closed due to the corona and only the pool outside is open. Noone ever smiled or wished you good morning, the room had a great view over Kineret but the room itself was dirty and not very pleasant. They didn’t want to listen to us then we asked about the late check out and suggested that after check out we can spend the time near the pool and take the shower after. When we were looking for the shower we realized that it’s located in spa and spa is closed! After our question why they again provided us with the wrong information, the staff replied that it shouldn’t be a problem for us to take a shower outside near the pool and they forgot that indoor shower is closed. When I wanted to leave a feedback to the Manager of the hotel and let him know that his staff just doesn’t care about the guests and give all the wrong information, he replied that after check out we don’t have any right to stay on the territory of the hotel. And that’s it - no apologize, nothing. It looks like they only wanted your money, and as soon as they got them, they don’t care about your experience at all. I suggest that it’s not a way to treat guests especially for the price they are asking for their old rooms. I’m very unhappy about the service I got there. …
We were a a group of 30 people who stayed in this Hotel. Rooms were neat and clean. Breakfast and Dinner was a good selection and nice variety. Staff was friendly and helpful.. Can recommend the Hotel.
We bought a package with the tour group and stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is average. It’s a bit run down. The carpets were dirty and can tell they haven’t been cleaned in awhile. The food was good but one of the guys down there overcharged us for water. He said $8 but decided to take my $10 bill and not give me my change back. I had to remind him I handed over a $10 bill. The view amazing and that was the only thing we enjoyed out of it.
Staying at Golan hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly, starting with Paz (Gold in Hebrew) at the reception. Rooms were very well appointed despite the fact the hotel is a little older, but nicely kept. The view from the hotel, overlooking the Sea of Galilee is breathtaking and a privilege. Moderately priced we did enjoy our 2-night stay. Definitely a place to be recommended!
