While our stay was comfortable, there are many upgrades this hotel is in need of completing. The easiest fix would be overall cleanliness. Glass all around the hotel and in our room was dusty and/or looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Likewise, our bathroom still had toothpaste grime from the last guests. We didn't have a... More

stayed there while touring Israel. Was a bit dissapointed as the hotel was far from the town where all the resturants and other attractions are. The pool area was old and not well kept and the hotel in general needs a facelift. Rooms are ok. the breakfast was good but the dinner was not. service could also use some improvement... More

Our group on pilgrimage to the Holy Land stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel needs to be upgraded and renovated. Although the rooms are clean, the fixtures are quite old. The buffet breakfast is passable; wifi is poor; the surrounding outside the hotel isn't cleaned regularly so dry leaves have accumulated.

It is a lovely hotel. Nice, large rooms and good view from our room over the city, but quite far away from town and a long walk down a steep hill to a bus stop. Breakfasdt buffet was good but dinner was unappetizing.

In May, 2014 we went on a two week tour of Israel and Jordan with a group from Nebraska (we were two of six Texan interlopers). Our first four days were a tour of Northern Israel. We used the Royal Plaza as our resting place for these four days. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path, so it... More

We stayed three nights here while on a tour. The views from our room over the Sea of Galilee were incredible...especially the sunrises. Nice, comfortable hotel. Food was well prepared and the service was very good. Room is not very large but adequate. The elevator is very, very small and takes a large group such as ours (52 people) a... More

Our tour booked us to this hotel. We were extremely lucky and privileged to get a room on higher floor overlooking the lake. Room was very spacious, large panoramic windows with amazing views of Sea of Galil and Golan Heights. Breakfast was good and with good variety of options. Hotel was on the hill, minutes away from a hot springs... More

We were at this hotel for 2 nights. It is close to the Sea of Galilee, has good view of the Sea. But is not on the beach. The public beaches close by are not good, we found them trashy. You have to walk to the near by resorts and spas (10 minute walk) and pay to use the beach.... More

I stayed at Royal Plaza Tiberias last week for three nights and this hotel seriously need renovation and upgrading. The room is relatively clean but all the fixtures are almost at the end of the life span. The beds are worn out that my wife and myself could hardly sleep well. The toilet in our room has a strong pungent... More
