We stayed at the Kinar for a long weekend with a large organized group. Our room was excellent, modern, spacious and comfortable with a sofa to on which to sit and read. Bathroom was excellent: wonderful shower, good toiletries, and okay towels. I didn't make use of the pool or beach so I can't comment on them. Be aware that...

The Kinar hotel was built as a destination for Ultra-Orthodox Jewish families. Everything about it is designed with this particular group in mind. The focus of the hotel is on large quantities of strictly kosher food (meat meals have the kosher certification listed near each dish, for people who only trust specific ones), a child friendly atmosphere, special Sabbath settings...

I was there in the winter time so have no opinion about the pool or the beach! It was a business trip for our group and the hotel worked very well for our needs. The food was good, and the rooms were nice and clean. I would go there again!

It is necessary to be very clear that this review involves a family stay with a large group over the weekend which will be a very different experience from a one off stay by a "tourist". The second consideration is the hotel being an observant hotel for religious Jews ie kosher, sabbath etc. Do not stay here if you expect...

As a non-Jew vacationing with family that are observing I had the most terrible time. First morning I was asked to leave breakfast as I "was not dressed modest enough" (i.e. you could see my shoulders. risquee indeed) in the most humiliating manner by the staff because "other guests complained". No access to pool because it was only for men....

It's a wonderful experience. The prayers with good hazanim. The shofar blowing. The wonderful chef meals. And the jewish atmosphere. With nice company around us. We will be happy to be here next year too

Since winter in the north of Israel can be rainy and cold, I don't recommend this Hotel if you want to enjoy the beach or outside pool during the winter.Other seasons,or indoors, this place is great. Very luxurious breakfast, nice staff, clean rooms. Quiet area with nice walks and green sitting areas. A few minutes walk to private beach

Also there 6-23 and worse than described. The owners and or managers must never any money into fixing this place up, let alone modernizing! They are existing by living off there older clientele, and/or reputation. There is nothing remotely positive about this place. Seriously they had a toaster in the dining room and for all 3 days stuck here they...

We stayed at this hotel in early June 2014 as part of a group. Our original hotel was oversold and the travel company put us at this hotel, telling us this was an "upgrade." If this was an upgrade, I would hate to see our original hotel. We were expecting a 4 star hotel and this isn't even close. The...

this recently renovated holiday village has comfortable clean rooms and a very large dining area, just a bit too large for comfort.when full its more like a railway station. Rooms are well signposted and easy to find as you wend your way though well kept gardens and although the reception is efficient there is a lack of professionalism. Sadly 'The...
