Simple but clean and well located with an easy access to a convenient shore. Rooms adjested for familes, but noise isolation is poor. A new wing with lake view or garden door is also available. Typical Israeli breakfast. Oriented for families or large groups
It seems the place haven't decided if it is a wedding hall or a youth hostel. Our children had a hard time falling asleep because a wedding took place in front of our room. We tried to talk to the person in charge but his promises were false - the wedding just kept going through the night...
we stayed there only for one night (Friday) with 3 other families. rooms are very basic and the breakfast and dinner(on Friday) was surprisingly tasty. the attitude of the staff makes all of the difference in this place and really created a pleasant and calm stay. it is a bit loud since many people come there with their families. it is a great place to stay if you do not want the regular hotel experience.
The rooms were O.K. but being there with a school is a nightmare. Noise all through the night. Food is not great. dining room was hot as hell but they said they couldn't set the air-condition on cooling and there was only one door to open.
A family friendly hostel on Sea of Galilee. Not recommended for couples as kids are loud and run wild late into the night - every night. It’s 9:30pm and the shrieks and screems do not give a peaceful environment. I’m not from Israel and not used to parerets letting kids have free reign to yell, run and scream in this boxed in courtyard hostel were the sounds are magnified. Food is good but selection is mostly the same every day. Disappointed in breakfast selections. Rooms are simple and clean and my bed is comfortable. The rooms are small.
