I booked this accommodation on the 29th of December 2015. The taxi driver drove me as far as he could along the road which then turns into a 50m laneway. I got to there office and it was closed. I was early. I simply wanted to drop my bag off. View the sites and come back.On the door was pics of the accommodation. In English there was a sign on the door with the office phone number. It wasnt the same number written on the booking agency English language website. A man answered and said he would ring me back. He didnt. I rang him back 1/2 an hour later. Engaged signal. I texted him about my booking and what time will they be at the office no reply.A few hours later I got the local restaurant to use my ph to ring and this time it was an answering machine A few hours later I got a text. Im busy, Im in a meeting. Still no reply or instructions up until so called check in time 3pm.Id been waiting for quite a few hours. At about 330pm. I sent a text ie " this is disgraceful and Im no longer waiting". I immediately received a text stating Im sorry , this isnt a hotel .Meaning they cant provide the same service as a hotel .I booked into Ruth Rimonin. This isa 5 star hotel that is nearly the same price as Karo Mansion. I immediately sent an email to the booking agency about the issue. At 430pm a man from Karo Mansion rang me, using a different number. He asked me where I was. I replied at your office for many hours. He said thats the office, we have many locations. Their website only mentions the office address and they didnt send me any.other address via email or text message. He said he was sorry about the confusion. Then he lodged a " NO SHOW " so as to deduct the total amount for the accommodation. They were fictitious to the booking agency .As a consequence I sought legal advice in Israel and followed that up with my bank. On the 24th of June, my bank account was credited the amount Karo Mansion deducted. I noticed that Karo Mansion no longer advertise with the well known booking agency any more. I wonder why.

We were sold on a "Mansion" stay but ended up with a dark, poorly furnished basement apartment. The agent agreed that we were misled and said we would receive a discount. He then ignored us and has now stated that he spoke to the owner, and they will not refund us anything. The apartment was falling apart, the view out the window was construction material. We paid $300/night, and they place was worth no more than $100. Whatever you do, do not stay here

I was excited to bring my family to the old city of Tzfat for the the weekend and wanted to book a scenic apartment. They represented the 3 bedroom as having a mountain view and many other things that it did not. When we arrived, the apartment was nothing like the pictures. I think they have one nice apartment and use its pictures for all of their others. We paid over $300/night for a basement apartment that had views of construction material and cement walls. The agent that met me there agreed that it was misrepresented and said he would try to get me a discount but then ignored me after that. The location was good, but the apartment should have been $100/night. The only toiletries they had was a soap pump attached to the wall, the cabinets were broken and the apartment was surely not a "mansion." These people are not honest, do not stay here
