For who wants to enjoy the authentic Jaffa Lifestyle, the Old Jaffa Hostel is the place to be. This 3 floor charming building looks like a movie-set and is full of curious things and open-minded people, both into the staff and guests. My room was big and furnished with charming old stuffs, it had a lovely balcony and a large...

We spent 3 nights at the Old Jaffa Hostel. Upon our arrival, we felt at ease. Everything is nice: our room, although a bit small was clean and fresh. The common areas are extraordinary. The staff is incredibly friendly. All travelers are pleasant. Here we can stay at remaining discreet while opening up to people. Everyone lives his time as...

I staid at the hostel for 6 nights and slept at the roof. This hostel is by far the best hostel I have been to. It's an very beautiful building with a lot to discover. As I said I slept at the roof so the comfort is very limited. But you should try it for at least one night. The...

The review by "Journey61" could have been mine - we may even have had the same room! - but there's a little more to add: * Despite upscale stores, this is STILL the middle of the old Jaffa Flea Market and a short bus ride from the Carmel Market, Bezalel Market and fabric stores on Nachalat Binyamin. A great base...

I am a solo women traveller, stayed at the Old Jaffa Hostel in Old Jaffa in April 2016. I loved this hostel! Jaffa is purported to be named after Japheth one of Noah’s sons. Old Jaffa is one of the oldest inhabited places in the world, well worth a visit to explore and enjoy. The hostel was once an Arab...

This hostel is pretty clean and good location for restaurants and the beach. Easy walk to bus stops and the promenade. Be sure to visit the old city on the hill for great sunsets. Staff super friendly and helpful.

If you like high ceilings, old furniture, and a beautiful rooftop, they have them at the price of any other hostel. There's a good breakfast on the roof. I stayed in a group room, and the room and the bathrooms were fine. I stayed only for one night (I wish I has stayed here more), but my experiences with the...

The day before arrival I recieved an e-mail from booking.com that I should send them updated dates of my credit card in case IF we will arrive after 6 PM otherwise our reservation is still valid and no action is needed. As I knew we are going to be there around 1 PM I...

I spent some 8 days in this hostel back in May. I was arriving late and rather wary that with the reception closed I'd be unable to find my way in, nonsense the instructions were all so clear, the welcome so warm. The hostel in a old Arab villa was full of family photos and books. There was a cross...
