After a 5 day stay at the Drisco I can tell you that the hotel is a true dream. Hezi the hotel manager “or as we call him Jessie “ is the most amazing kind man. My mother and I had such a wonderful time we wanted to take Hezi home with us. This hotel is spotless, runs beautifully and makes you feel welcome at every turn. The staff including Yotem really care about their jobs and just want to help. Thanks Hezi and team we will be running back soon!!! Regards , Richard
Staff was helpful, bed is comfy, room is too small, surprisingly breakfast was kind a disappointing… When you visit an hotel which is way more expensive than the others you will look for added value, something special… didn’t find one sadly.
The Drisco hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were beautiful. The entie staff was incredible. Shie was especially kind, caring and helpful. We all had a wonderful experience. I would 100% recommend this hotel.
A trip gone wrong but saved by The Drisco Hotel and their staff. Shai, who welcomed us in the middle of the night was absolutely amazing. An absolute gem. Fabulous hotel, with amazing rooms and incredible staff. You made this stranded crew feel welcomed. Thank you just do not seem sufficient.
This is one of, if not the best, the best places I’ve ever stayed in my life. And I’ve been a lot of places! The staff is absolutely AMAZING. All of them, especially Shai (hope I spelled that right). He was so so kind and took care of us when there was so much going wrong for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tel Aviv. It’s also in a beautiful location and the rooms are sooo nice and cute. The food is also so delicious! It was an absolute pleasure staying here! If I could give a 20 star review I would!! Thanks for the hospitality, Drisco crew!!
Tel Aviv is subject to controversy. This hotel is not. It is a quiet oasis in the middle of a shabby district, surrounded by construction sites. We had room 305, with direct views of the blue Mediterranean and the bump road leading to the hotel. Breakfast is good, serving a second cup of coffee appears to be difficult. Room service is excellent, everything was ready when we returned for our afternoon nap. We enjoyed the George and John hotel restaurant at one evening. The cheapest Austrian Rosé eine was an excellent match with our dinner choices. Service was good compared to Israeli standards. I have to commend the guest service for their help to make / reconfirm reservations at some of the top restaurants in Tel Aviv. Do not hesitate to use the complimentary bikes. Though old and in need of restauration they served us well exploring the city. One last remark. When you arrive by rental car park it at Eilat Street 21 and make a photo of the license plate. Present the photo to the staff at the reception. They will feed it into the system and you can enter the carpark at will without any concerns for payment. The hotel will put the fee on your final bill.…
The Drisco is truly a 5 star in the best sense. A treat on an international scale. The room, besides being small, (and the view from our room being a bit disappointing, good thing for the rooftop) was comfortable and appealing, the restaurant excellent (especially breakfast) and the service wonderful-great staff. The building is of course a work of art beautifully renovated.
The hotel is a beautifullyy-restored 19th century hotel in Nevei Tsedek, an old neighborhood in south Tel-Aviv in walking distance to Jaffa which is also being remade. Our room was in the annex, also restored, with a nice balcony. The room was not large but nicely furnished and comfortable. Bathroom was large and modern. Very nice breakfast. What is really outstanding is the service. Our flight landed at 7:00am and we arrived at the hotel around 10. Check-in is at 3:00pm and we expected to have to sit in the public area or go out until check-in. Unsolicited, the manager offered to give us a room at that time, at no additional charge. He invited us to sit in the bar and have coffee whle he checked tomake sure the room was ready. During out stay service continued at the same level of care. It' could not have been a better stay.…
I recently landed in TLV for a few days of business trips and promptly tested positive for The Covid (yes, quad-vaxed). I quarantined at the Drisco for a week until i received permission to leave. The hotel was a godsend to me. This is a very peaceful, quiet place. The staff was uniformly warm and capable. The breakfasts (about all I could eat) were superb. The hotel made every accommodation for me, including changing my schedule multiple times as test results waxed and waned. Special kudos to the cleaning staff, who were immaculate and unobtrusive. Thanks to the Drisco, what could have been a hellacious week turned out to be quite tolerable. BTW, the location seemed ideal, had I been able to stroll about town.
A high quality experience for us at the Drisco hotel .Top quality service , lovely room and fine dining at the George and John restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and consider this one of our top hotel experiences.
