Adobe Stars is not close to Taos. But that was OK with us. It took my best navigation skills to find it, but it was all for the best. The rooms were great! Very large rooms with very large bathrooms. The innkeeper did everything to make us comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. We were tired from our ride from Albuquerque...

We LOVED it...the place, the location..secluded, but close in, the surroundings...oh, the FOOD...everything was more than I could imagine! Outstanding views, and ambiance that won't quit! A beautiful great room, with views of the mountains, and gorgeous gardens, flirting magpies that are almost pets...a lively and interesting group of guests were there, and it was fun exchanging tales of travel...

We met our daughter here for her 21st birthday and spent two lovely nights surrounded by mountains and sage brush. We are not regular B&B people so we have very little by which to compare our experience. To us it was a very satisfying experience and we would eagerly return. What is not to like about a quiet, peaceful location...

The Adobe and Stars is in a very scenic setting, but that's the best I can say about it. The room we booked did not appear to have the view that is indicated on the website, which is one of the reasons we booked it. the other was the adobe fireplace. We were instructed we were not allowed to use...

My partner and I have travelled extensively in the US and foreign countries, thus I feel qualified to compare this Inn with other accommodations we've experienced throughout the years. Our recent trip, with my 16 year old niece, took us back to the Adobe and Stars Bed and Breakfast in Arroyo Seco, NM. Prior to our trip, I wondered if...

Stayed for almost a week. Room very clean, bright, and cool even when outside was quite hot. Breakfasts were way above average--delicious. Private entrance is nice. Very quiet at night for good sleeping. Hot tub is great. Owner, Judy, offers great advice for sightseeing, eating, whatever, plus a glass of wine in the evening. We look forward to going back...soon.

Recently stayed for five nights with a friend. The accommodations were fine, but from the moment we booked, it seemed like we were children going off to camp. Too many rules, especially at breakfast time. Who wants to start off the day with a scolding? If you do - stay here!! Otherwise, there are too many other really nice places...

March 28, 2009. My lady companion and I spent the night here after a late day snow storm. It is located about a mile north of the small villa of Arroyo Seco. Arroyo Seco is about 5 miles north of the bustle in Taos. It is a funky area not for the standard tourist type. I suspect this area is...

“I gave the room a "poor" because of the lack of comfy seating and the terrible, flimsy window coverings that let all the sunlight in at the crack of dawn. The innkeeper seemed inconvenienced by our requests instead of eager to make us feel comfortable.”

“Pretty well all of the rooms we have seen have been excellent, but if you're there for stargazing (we were watching the Perseid meteor shower), reserve one of the rooms on the back side of the building; the neighbor across the street has an excessively bright porch light.”
