Akkotel in the middle of Akko's old town has a lot going for it: the location is great, the old, probably Ottoman, building is attractive, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and modern without being super fancy. But I had the feeling a lot more could be done: breakfast was a little uninspired, there was no... More

We stayed are a family of five and stayed for two nights in a triple room which worked perfectly for us. The room has a double bed on the floor you enter and then twin beds on a mezzanine level. There is also a fold out single bed on the mezzanine level. The rooms are large so we did not... More

The hotel located in the old town wall. It is close to all Akko attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast was so rich that we won't be able to eat in the afternoon! The price is considerable for the hotel location and amenities. We spent a wonderful time in the... More

This is a really nice boutique hotel. We were two couples, and we all had an enjoyable stay. Our rooms were a nice size, with an adequate bathroom. Nice breakfast with a variety of local and international options.

Did not disappoint. Really, truly built into the walls of the old city, really truly boutique. The rooms were designed to resemble the Ottoman Empire, even kinda Crusader-y. The place is spanking clean, down to the fact that they have wastebaskets in the halls outside the rooms; very convenient. Staff is friendly, breakfast was ample. One feature that could be... More

Akkotel is a restored old palace built in to the actual city wall of Old Akko (Acre). It is a most unusual building, and situated in a superb location allowing all the tourist sites to be reached on foot within a few minutes. Our bedroom was quirky, as would be expected in accommodation carved out of a massive defensive wall,... More

Beautiful entrance, intriguing architecture, great breakfast. Then go home and throw all your clothes in the wash and dry them on the hottest heat for 30 minutes, pick up anti itch cream-'cause the horrible looking room is infested with bedbugs. I had 23 bites- and I stayed one night. You decide if charm and a good omelet are worth it.

Dear Guest, We are much shocked with your claims .In fact we are not sure that you are talking about our property. This is the first time since we opened the hotel that we receive such a complain . It is strange that after you arrived home you decided to complain ,perhaps the bites were from other places you visited... More

Spent one night here. The hotel is built into the old city wall and is quite nice. Very handy for visiting the Old City. Parking is sparse. There is room for about 8 cars right in front of the hotel and we were fortunate to get the last one of those. Don't know what the options are if they are... More

The location of this hotel is excellent and takes you everywhere within walking distance. On the outside the hotel looks charming, however inside the furniture seems a bit outdated and the rooms are funnily arranged with old school beds, desks and bathrooms. The quality however was not less than normally: airconditioning was provided and the rooms supplied everything a guest... More

Acre/Akko is two different cities - Old City is Arab and historic; New City modern and Israeli. Hotel is right inside Old City walls and perfect spot for exploring Old City sights/Crusader ruins and sea front restaurants; 20 minute walk from Acre train station. Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms clean, good free breakfast buffet.
