We had a wonderful time at Via Vacare. It was exactly what we were looking for: a place to get away from it all. We were able to completely disconnect from technology for a few nights and forget all the work and worries waiting for us back home and simply enjoy the present. Via Vacare is very small with just...

Most amazing place! But only for those who appreciate the "simple" things in life (in a good way)! It is perfect to chill out and relax. The bungalows are very spacious and beautifully set up. But there is no running water... Which is the only negative point to this place (cause once in a while it is nice to have...

I had visited Viavacare before and was very happy to go back with my family from Canada to spend Christmas there. We spent 5 nights there, and shared the 4 bungalows amongst ourselves and another couple of friends. Because of the intense rains, Lombok was flooded and we had a hard time reaching the resort (congratulations to driver Pak Demra...

It was a pleasant stay for my gf and I. On the first night, I had a high fever and Jet (The Owner) was really helpful to make sure I was well taken care of. She prayed for me and dropped in to see if I was ok. The food was amazing and super yums, with a great set of...

I and my wife have spent three nights in Via Vacare. We have had a wonderful stay. It's situated in a very quiet island, Gili Gede. It's directly on the beach, only some steps connect it to the shore. It's not a big beach, and surely not the best in the surroundings, but when there' s the low tide it's a...

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. It is very basic- no electricity during the day, no running water but this is the price you pay for isolation and relaxation. The place was very clean and comfortable. The snorkelling trip was great and the reef was amazing with brilliant coral, fish and turtles. It is nice...

Great local staff and very helpful and good modo reflecting the Indonesian typical way . There were many bad aspects of our stay namely the owner Jet. She did not make us feel at all welcome as we did not fit her 'ideal guest' criteria. Her main goal was to get all money that she could .. she even tried...

Bad surprise and disappointing. I remember you telling us how you enjoyed our place, the food, the atmosphere the snorkelingtour with barbecued fish and corn and extra cool beer brought in for you, the yoga , the sunset with your own brought liquors and the lemons I gave you. We dance together, had a good laugh, spoke with each other...

Via Vacare is really the perfect place to celebrate the art of doing nothing. Snorkelling is great and there is a yoga class every morning. The greatest pleasure, however, is just letting time go by and connecting to the peaceful vibes of this very special place. Jet, the host, is a very charming lady who welcomes her guests as if...
