My friend and I decided on a little getaway over a long weekend. From reading the reviews we had a certain expectations in mind about the resort so certain things didn't come too much of a shock. We started off our journey with a pleasant ride on Bintan resort ferry. Then it was a 1hr slightly bumpy ride on a...

Cons: - It is more than an hour's drive away from the Tanjung Pinang ferry terminal, and quite a distance from the town area. So if you're looking to do lots of shopping, this resort isn't ideal, location speaking. - The resort seems a little old, although comfortable enough. - There could be more activities provided at the resort, ie....

I went to bintan on september 7, 2013. I do not like to mislead people who want to have a holiday full of fun and frolic. For them, the place would seem to be bore. But, for a peaceful getaway from all the hubhub, this place is just great. I will first start with pros. 1. Really a peaceful place,...

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay here. Amenities are neat and mediocre. Place is really windy and relaxing. Atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was okay. The rooms are clean and basic. We are a couple who decided to get away from the city for a weekend. It served its purpose. Bintan is not a fantastic place to visit...

Went with my cycling group to Bintan for cycling and stayed here for 1 night. As everyone has mentioned, the resort is run down and badly in need of maintenance. The plus factors are that is an idyllic and breezy place and if u're just here to chill it's ok. I thought the beach was beautiful. Breakfast was disappointing and...

Stayed here with my older children for a few days, whilst visiting Singapore. The staff were very welcoming, polite and we had a lovely suite, spacious, clean and good value for money. This is the perfect location for a few days relaxation. Children were disappointed that we couldn't book diving lessons, or no assistance provided to do so with neighbouring...

My wife and I checked in 10 August and out 11 August. Here is a short review of our experience. 1. Getting there. We secured the resort and left the ferry booking to be done a few days before the trip. The resort website was not helpful -> http://www.agrobeach.com/location.html . It mentioned only route to resort is by Tg Pinang...

You can read the full review here http://pepperminter.blogspot.sg/2012/12/bintan-agro-resort-spa-with-bonvo-travel.html Basically the entire place has only 1 spa, 1 sea sports and 1 cafe. It's a good place to really relax from hectic lifestyle but not a fantastic view from the beach. It's quiet and quite isolated. Getting to the town would be a waste of time so basically we just slacked...
