My fantasy of private island living was totally fulfilled by Pangkil. The staff were excellent —attentive but not overbearing. The beautiful rooms built on stilts out of driftwood were incredible. I think what I loved most is that having the island all to ourselves, I could leave my book, or hat or sunglasses anywhere and find them again hours later.... More

We spent a weekend with 18 guests at Pangkil Island, and it was by far the best life experience and holiday experience... we had romance, good food, sports, beach lifestyle, wedding and night club atmosphere all in one island. The staff were friendly, helpful and organised. The food was amazing! The scenery is beyond words, my wife and I could... More

I had my 40th birthday on Pulau Pangkil and it was one of the most amazing weekends I have ever had. The staff couldn't do enough for us all. The food is incredible - healthy and delicious. The facilities are ample, sound system fantastic. There was really nothing to criticise. Plus the island itself is magical. Dinner on the beach... More

Note: I've never bothered writing such lengthy reviews, but I want to share what a truly amazing place and experience Pangkil is. When my husband and I decided to get married, we didn't want the typical wedding dinner in a fancy hotel with hundreds of people that we wouldn't have time to spend with. We wanted a casual affair where... More

This was our second visit to Pangkil and we loved every minute. Dedy was an excellent coordinator, aided by Fitri and Joshua who worked hard to ensure that all of the needs of our group were met. This time, we brought 7 children and they loved playing in the lagoon, heading out on kayaks, paddle boards and the fishing boat... More

We went there for a company vacation as a group of 2x people. It is extremely relaxing as you can just walk in and don't need to worry anything and just stay relaxed for 2-3 days. Everything else considered including food, drinks, swimming pool, snorkel, kayak, it is very relaxing and you can have a bunch of fun if you... More

We just celebrated our birthdays on this beautiful jewel in the Riau Archipelago with over 30 friends. This was our second visit in 8 years and the island and facilities are still amazing and extremely well maintained with a lot of improvements! Our guests were housed in their rustic driftwood palaces and completely pampered with deliciously prepared meals. Our island... More

Visited Pulau Pangkil from Mon-Wed to celebrate my dad's birthday - there were just 11 of us. The staff there were extremely attentive, there were always a group of them at every mealtime waiting to attend to us and to guard the food from insects. Joshua who attended to us was polite and professional, and extremely wonderful: He proactively gave... More
