Wow what a magical place! The view and infinity pool was amazing, the people very kind and helpfull and the breakfast was delicious! It was very close by the city centre, we rented a motor bike but you could easily walk. If you are in Ubud visit this spot! Thanks for a great stay! ♡

This resort is the epitome of tranquility and enchantment, immersing you in a real-life fairytale. I chose to celebrate my 33rd birthday in Bali, Indonesia, indulging in a two-night stay at Pertiwi Bisma 1, renowned for its Instagram-worthy infinity pool. My trip surpassed all expectations, bringing to life the picturesque scenes often seen on Instagram and Facebook. Throughout my stay, I basked in pure luxury. Pertiwi Bisma 1's exceptional customer service sets it apart. The staff exceeded all expectations, going above and beyond to cater to my every need. They even arranged a special room decoration for my birthday, complete with a complimentary cake. One memorable morning, I was treated to the delightful experience of a floating breakfast, skillfully orchestrated by hotel staff. Without a doubt, I will return to Pertiwi Bisma 1 in the future, eager to relive this enchanting experience.

Awful awful stay. This was my third visit here and will be my last. It used to be nice but if you fancy a swim in that pool, you’ll be disappointed because the water is disgusting, dirty sludgy green water that you cannot see through. I wouldn’t let a dog swim in it, let alone myself or my child. I think a lot of the good reviews here are from a long time ago, but speaking as someone who last visited 6 years ago, it really is a different place now. The room was dirty and in a state of disrepair. Icky bathroom with black moldy looking stuff and just grime. Some of our lights didn’t work, the bathroom was very dark, putting makeup on was total guesswork. Our shower door didn’t open properly, it was made of glass and scraped and stuck on the floor. The place really needed a deep clean. There were cracks in the villa walls you could see light through and it looked like it was warping a bit in places. The valley view villa we had was terrible, with a view of the back of other villas, some of which had missing roofs covered in plastic. The water in the pool looked like it was covered in algae. It was green and not see-through anyway! There was a visibly broken pool light in the top of the pool, and you couldn’t see the tiles more than about 30cm down, that’s how opaque the water was. When I asked at reception they just literally lied to my face and said they were cleaning it later, three days went past and nothing changed. We were so sad, we could have booked somewhere else and instead we essentially had a scruffy hotel room with no usable pool. We had to pay for a different hotel as well and move out of there so that our children could have a swim. No refund offered. It was absolutely an awful experience. We used to love it here, which just makes it all the sadder. We met someone in Ubud who said he worked there for a short time but it was awful with awful bad management, and I think that must be the case because they are running a place that used to be lovely into the ground. Each time I naively went to see if the pool had been cleaned, it hadn’t and it was empty of people and just so sad. No one wants to swim in that. I really wish someone had written this review before I went, because I would absolutely not have booked it had I known how awful and sad it is now. All the customers looked miserable. As I was leaving I overheard the staff telling the same lies to the next mug about “Oh, is it dirty?” As if this news was a surprise to them. “Yes we will clean it” Hmmm. Same thing they told me over and over. But they never did clean it. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. It will ruin your time in Ubud.

The staff were very friendly and very good with ensuring we were well looked after the entire stay. The pool is the best pool I've ever been too and always so quiet. The rooms themselves were kept very clean and the views from our lodge were incredible. Definitely worth top stars for this place, would 100% be recommending.

Extremely disappointed in this hotel. My husband and I were booked to stay in September 2020, unfortunately covid stopped us from going. I contacted the hotel to ask if I could get a refund they said yes and had to go through booking.com, so I contacted booking.com, booking.com need it in writing from the hotel that I can get a refund and they are ignoring booking.com emails and phone calls, I have tried emailing several times myself asking them to allow booking.com to give me a refund but I also am getting no answer from them now. I do feel terribly said for all businesses during this time, however why should I also be made to suffer and lose out on money for something I did not receive! We would love to still come to Bali sometime in the future but I will most certainly will not be booking here and I will be making it clear to family and friends to not book here either, as to treat people like this in not on.
