Detailed Reviews
Stayed with my friend for 4 days in Pertiwi Bisma 1. Hotel rooms are ok, not new but comfy and clean. As we was out of hotel for almost whole day, we didnt stay much in the room. Breakfast was included, many fruits, vegetables and muesli. Separately omelet with sausage or bacon can be ordered (no additional costs). Had lunch couple of times, very tasty salads and duck. Good location of the hotel, many cafes, spas and shops around. Hotel has beautiful view of the jungles and small waterfall visible by the second pool. Good service and friendly staff.

This resort is the epitome of tranquility and enchantment, immersing you in a real-life fairytale.
I chose to celebrate my 33rd birthday in Bali, Indonesia, indulging in a two-night stay at Pertiwi Bisma 1, renowned for its Instagram-worthy infinity pool. My trip surpassed all expectations, bringing to life the picturesque scenes often seen on Instagram and Facebook.
Throughout my stay, I basked in pure luxury. Pertiwi Bisma 1's exceptional customer service sets it apart. The staff exceeded all expectations, going above and beyond to cater to my every need. They even arranged a special room decoration for my birthday, complete with a complimentary cake. One memorable morning, I was treated to the delightful experience of a floating breakfast, skillfully orchestrated by hotel staff.
Without a doubt, I will return to Pertiwi Bisma 1 in the future, eager to relive this enchanting experience.

Wow what a magical place! The view and infinity pool was amazing, the people very kind and helpfull and the breakfast was delicious! It was very close by the city centre, we rented a motor bike but you could easily walk. If you are in Ubud visit this spot! Thanks for a great stay! ♡

Sometimes you have look at the bathrooms before selecting a hotel. The hotel is situated at a very convenient location and not too far from the restaurant and the main Ubud market. Unfortunately, we checked in at an ungodly hour so we didn’t get out regular room changed. Upon entering our room me and my wife both shook our heads and we decided we would check out in the morning. We woke up had breakfast and spoke to the manager about cancelling for the next 2 days we had as we weren’t happy with the toilets and the room. The manager was generous enough to offer us a villa for the next two nights that we had booked with them. The villas for the price are again not worth it as you have to climb down 2-3 stories before you get to your villa and there are no elevators. The next day we thought our air conditioning wasn’t working as it was the the previous room. We shared this with the management and according to the team it was fine. When it was nearly 35 degrees outside the inside temperature didn’t help us and me and my wife had decided to stay in Ubud for one more night but we are happy in switching hotels rather than living in torture.

This resort is nicely located near to monkey park and a quieter part of Ubud.
Sadly the resort is somewhat dated and in need of some help now.
Now I can only base this on staying in the rooms and the shared amenities and not the villas.
The backdrop here is breathtaking with great views from the two infinity pools.
Sadly attention to detail lets it down.
The dining area/reception area is very basic and has no bar or attractions but functional.
There is 24 hour reception which is good.
The rooms overlook each other across a small grassed area which gives no privacy.
Our balcony railings were broken at one end and extremely dangerous as rusted away.
A spacious and reasonable bed inside with a dripping antique air conditioning unit which makes more noise than I have ever heard.
Now it’s hot and sweaty in Ubud so not best when your shower does not work!
Seldom availability of hot water with any pressure at all led to 3 visits to reception none of which solved the problem.
We left after our planned 4 day visit and my daughter left her dress in the room sadly.
Even sadder was the inability of the hotel to acknowledge or respond to our emails asking to recover it!
All in all it is very tired and needs some basics sorting and a bit of money spent

Extremely disappointed in this hotel. My husband and I were booked to stay in September 2020, unfortunately covid stopped us from going. I contacted the hotel to ask if I could get a refund they said yes and had to go through booking.com, so I contacted booking.com, booking.com need it in writing from the hotel that I can get a refund and they are ignoring booking.com emails and phone calls, I have tried emailing several times myself asking them to allow booking.com to give me a refund but I also am getting no answer from them now.
I do feel terribly said for all businesses during this time, however why should I also be made to suffer and lose out on money for something I did not receive! We would love to still come to Bali sometime in the future but I will most certainly will not be booking here and I will be making it clear to family and friends to not book here either, as to treat people like this in not on.

This hotel is good value for money.
The staff are all so lovely and friendly.
The room and bathroom are spacious.
There are two pools. The second pool on the lower level of the property is an infinity pool overlooking the lush jungle. It is amazing. The downside is that there are a lot of steps to get to it.
If breakfast is included in your accommodation, the breakfast is a set menu of either American or Indonesian which is quite adequate.
The hotel is located close to restaurants/warungs, plus there is the onsite restaurant.
The negatives we found with the hotel were
The bed and pillows are not the most comfortable to sleep on .
The bath is deep and we found it a little difficult to get in and out of for showers.

The hotel is in a beautiful location & the staff work incredibly hard maintaining the grounds. Both pool areas are stunning. BUT the hotel rooms are very tired. The bathrooms have black mould around the grouting, the paint is bubbling in the bathroom & bedroom, the rooms smell damp, there is rarely enough water pressure for a shower, the air conditioning units are very noisy & the mattresses have definitely seen better days.
The staff are very friendly and helpful though & do their best to sort issues out.
Breakfast is distinctly average.

The staff were very friendly and very good with ensuring we were well looked after the entire stay. The pool is the best pool I've ever been too and always so quiet. The rooms themselves were kept very clean and the views from our lodge were incredible. Definitely worth top stars for this place, would 100% be recommending.

It was not offered last year. Email the hotel directly
There is a mini mart just down the road. There are plenty of "taxis" on the main road and Monkey Forest road. Will cost about $5 to $8. As Monkey Forest road is usually bumper to bumper traffic late afternoon and night it would be better to walk to the main road to look for a ride. The drivers ask if you want a taxi or they hold up a sign. Teĺl them where you are going and ask for a price.
