This is a tiny little guest house with only 3 or 4 rooms but it's run at a quality better than some five star hotels. The staff were like ninjas who were barely noticed but succeeded in making up the rooms beautifully and delivering our morning breakfast, overlooking the padi fields, at a moment's notice. We booked on the day...

We stayed 8 nights in Bayu guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. This guesthouse is right in the center of Ubud but yet very quiet since it is located at the end of a lane. The Rama room is incredible, overlooking a rice paddy, and immaculate. They actually clean the room everytime you go out, I've never seen that before....

Very well run small guesthouse. Three clean, nice rooms, all with AC. The family running it are friendly and eager to help with anything, but they also know how to keep a polite distance if you are not looking for any other services. I stayed in two rooms, the Bayu on the second floor and Rama in the first floor....

This guest house it at the end of a long alley way. Next to a rice paddy. The room ticked all the boxes. King bed, WiFi, TV, AC, Hot Water, Fridge. The service was amazing and they went all out to make it enjoyable. The people who run it just make you feel important. Different breakfast everyday. They made new...

Stop looking! You have found the gem of the century. The family and staff that run this little guesthouse are amazing. They keep the well appointed rooms spotless. They bend over backwards to accommodate. The location can't be better. It's walking distance to Ubud market, great cafes and restaurants, shopping, monkey forest and yoga spots. They helped us to arrange...

We got ill and missed our first night since we had to stay at the hospital and the guesthouse gave us that night for half price even though we cancelled the first night very late. The day after when we arrived late from the hospital at 11pm the family hade stayed up waiting for us to show us our room...

My husband and I have just returned from a 9 day trip to Bali, the first half of which we spent in the Rama Room at Bayu Guest House in Ubud. We aren't really backpackers and I was particularly sceptical of staying in a homestay but we ended up absolutely loving the place. We've stayed in many hotels (some of...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in January in the Rama room. I believe the guest house only has 3 rooms, with the Rama room the only one with a terrace opening up to the adjacent rice field. Needless to say, it was a lovely and peaceful stay. First off, finding the guest house can be a...

This was my second visit to Ubud and I chose to stay once again at Bayu Guesthouse with my boyfriend just because of the fantastic experience I had a few years back ! There is definitely no better place to stay, the rooms are just perfect and so are the owners and staff ! I love the fact the guesthouse...

There were a lot of mix ups prior to my arrival. I was emailed to confirm my booking, then 2 weeks before I arrived I was emailed to say there had been a double booking and there was no room for me. After lots of to-ing and fro-ing I was told everything was fine again. So, i arrived with a...
