The room i stayed in upstairs was beautiful . Clean bright and beautifully furnished . I was fortunate to arrive a night when our host was cooking dinner! Delicious home made meal ! The bath is comfy and big , the shower head is not attached to the wall so will need to hold onto while showering . There isn't...

We had a wonderful experience with Ibu Wayan and her warm welcome, with all her family. They are extremely helpful and always try to make your stay as best as possible. They propose but do not impose : for example, Ibu Wayan proposed us a guide, but we prefered to go with a French-speaking guide that we discovered on Internet...

If you're travelling solo this is the place to stay! Just one phone call and I was greeted at the airport by Wayan's husband and driven in comfort to beautiful Ubud. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the rooms are serviced daily. The view of the jungle and rice paddies are amazing. As soon as I arrived I was...

After 20 hours of travel, I was picked up at the airport by Wayan's husband. They gave me a meal when I arrived, and Wayan hugged me and told me I was family! I stayed in a room with a balcony and it was charming. The air conditioning was cold, and there was a TV in the room. I enjoyed...

I was lucky enough to be able to stay here for an entire month while completing a yoga training (July 12-Aug 13). It was a wonderful experience! First of all my room was the BEST! Room #2, upstairs with beautiful antique furniture, marble flooring, my own bathroom and tub to soak my worn out muscles and the best part...the balcony!...

I stayed in Mulawarman for four days at the end of July 2014. The hotel is located near the end of a narrow path next to Abangan hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ubud (where Ubud Palace is). The path isn't lit, so have a torch ready if you're arriving at night. Stay here if you're looking...

Our family had 2 rooms here, but our schedule only allowed us to stay 1 night. ....would gladly have stayed longer! As it happened, Wayan, the hostess, was busy with family commitments during most of our stay, but the fine young men at Mulawarman took good care of us! The more expensive rooms are lovely and very comfortable, and breakfast...

I stayed in Mularwarman from 7-20th June 2014 - and it became my Bali Home. As soon as I met Wayan I was made to feel like her family as she took such good care of me and I fell in love with the staff who couldn't do enough for me. I was traveling on my own so naturally I...

I arrived for my stay after communicating months before about my booking, I was told to book through agoda and advised the best room for me and my one year old son. We took the narrow path to get there only to find noone knew of my booking ( I have receipts and had paid in full) the place was...

Wayan has one of the biggest hearts in the world! She instantly became our Balinese Mom, and we cherished every day we spent at Mulawarman. Wayan was happy to answer our questions about the Balinese culture, and arranged for us to go on an amazing volcano hike which was incredible! She introduced us to an incredible kecak ceremony, arranged for...
