I can't recommend Family Guesthouse, Ubud highly enough. I stayed here for 9 nights, as a solo female traveller on my first trip to Bali and was made to feel incredibly welcome. It is set in a beautiful family home with traditional temple and Nyoman and her family are so kind and really made me feel part of the family....

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the family guest house for three nights and we were not disappointed. The gardens were luscious and serene. We were given a spacious room with a double bed and my daughter was given a mattress, the views from our boucany were breathtaking with the sounds of the Bali echoing. The service was great...

Nyoman & family/staff will make you feel at home at Family Guest House. Mom & I loved our spacious room, the beautiful gardens, temple, koy pond & breakfast nook where we mingled daily. The included breakfasts were scrumptious & 'round the clock friendly staff were ready to provide cool drinks, help with bookings/recommendations. Hint: Restaurants (Mamas) & spas (Uli next...

We had a big room with a big bathroom (including bathtub) and also a big terrace with a view to the beautiful garden. Just the best place for relaxing and chilling. And everything is more than clean. Breakfast (delicious homemade bread) is included and whenever you want, you can ask for a drink and you don't have to pay for...

Was told about this place and as soon as I walked in I was felt like I was part of this lovely family. On arrival children were getting dance lesson and combined with the Balinese gardens and gorgeous breakfast I felt like I never wanted to stay in hotels again. You need an open mind to embrace all the little...

4th time in Bali, 4th time in Family Guest House. You have the privacy, very nice room, over the top banana pancakes, and breakfast. Indeed, they will treat you as part of the family! No other home stay can equal the hospitality, friendliness and honesty of the staff! You won't have any problem here at all. Prices are affordable too!...

The family guest house in incredibly beautiful. Every room is a bungalow in the traditional Balinese architecture. There is a beautiful inner courtyard full of plants which makes it feel like paradise! There is a little pond and the prettiest golden family temple. My room had a view across the "jungle" on the other side. The owners are super friendly,...

I stayed at the Family Guest House for about three weeks while doing my yoga teacher training at the Yoga Barn. It was a short walk away and was close to the main road and to Hanoman Street. It is located on a quiet but safe street. The staff are exceptionally sweet and attentive, and made me feel perfectly at...

I stayed at the Family Guest House in Ubud for a total of 3 days and I'm so glad I did. I found out about this place on a blog for single women traveling to Bali and decided to book. It was cheap ($20 a night), clean, and I felt safe. What really made my experience was layout of the...

We arrived in this fabulous place with my boyfriend thanks to the book lonely planet, not always good recommendations, but this one was. They make you feel at home and you are their guests, you don't have to do anything. The room are really big and typical Balinese house, with terrace or balcony, with big bathroom and a ceiling fan....
