stayed here two nights last year when revisited ubud in November.i stayed at room with private pool, thought the pool not big, still enough for me,soaking in it everyday.chillin and relaxing. there is a common pool outside.room quite big with basic facilities, like TV, fridge, bathtub, cupboard, toiletries... breakfast included, and very big, love its omelette and banana pancake, teapot is great also. the restaurant attached is a good place for dining, nice decor.there is a garden for dining also.staffs nice and helpful. they provide free massage and afternoon tea. so staying here is worth your money.the cottage close to monkey forest, there is a small path to jalan monkey forest, that time the path closed, but still can walk through it,and you must take it to jalan monkey forest, cuz it is the only way, if not, you must go via monkey forest. that means you must pay the entrance fee.though almost one year passed, still miss the chillin time at chili cottage, hope can back to Bali again.

I fell in love with the charm and serenity of this place, as well as with its accommodating and friendly staff. The grounds have the feel of being on a Balinese family’s compound that is permeated with its ancient spiritual and cultural heritage. Staff daily continue to reverently make the traditional offerings to the many shrines on the property. Breakfast is served in a lovely appointed open air dining deck at the front of the property overlooking the grounds. Very ample breakfast choices, of western egg selections or Balinese dishes, fresh pressed watermelon juice, as well as a nice selection of tropical fruit, tea or coffee. Free tea and Balinese cakes are offered gratis in the afternoon. We had a studio room, which has a large bedroom and spacious bathroom with bathtub and a very ample open roofed shower room. There is also an open air kitchen at the back, with a locked door into the bedroom. We so enjoyed the pool, the water temperature was perfect and enough sun loungers for the number of guest there. Cleaning staff does a great job with the rooms each day and very respectful of guests schedules. A must while at Chili Ubud Cottages is a massage by their talented masseuse. One of the best massages I’ve had for only 190,000 Rupiah, about 13 USD. Would love to return next year.

First, kudos to all the staffs of Chili ubud.. They are all accommodating during our stay there.. Requests were provided, the room was fine. Maybe they just need do some re-touch to maintain area.. The only negative part we encountered was all towels provided were stained and dirty.. But everything was great specially the cake that I requested for my Mom's birthday.. We will be back for sure..

We travelled as a family, parents, a honeymoon couple, an aunt on a getaway and a sister on a relaxing self tour and lets just say Chili Ubud fulfilled all of our needs. The free 15 minute welcome massage was better than the paid one hour we had in town, the breakfasts were divine, the rooms were lovely and we all had what we wanted. It felt so luxurious at an affordable price. Also they didn't provide toothbrushes but when we asked, they bought for us without extra charge. They looked after us and ensured we had transports. Well done, chili ubud.

Stayed in the private pool suite. Staff was friendly and responsive. Check in and check out went smoothly and the room was beautiful. Great location by the monkey forest and an easy walk into town. Only room for improvement would be with breakfast, often it was a bit slow as only one person was working in the morning which affected our early morning tours. I don't know if ordering the day before is an option but we may try next time. Other than that I would definitely recommend.
