So the hosts are friendly and helpful. They help organise trips and give general advice about the area. The homestay is clean with spacious rooms. I would suggest to install shower curtains, as the whole bathroom is wet after the shower. Breakfast is delicious with choices of eggs or pinecakes with a bowl of fruit and tea. The homestay is...

Stayed here on my second time in Bali and can confirm this is easily the best place to stay in Udbud, great rooms at a great price, friendly service, not too far from the main town but far enough away to escape the mayhem. There was motorbike rental available at a good price and this place has the best hosts...

In it's price bracket, Ben's is unbeatable. Ben's family run the place - he is an absolutely lovely person with a wonderful sense of humour and deep knowledge of Bali. I can't believe I got to stay amongst such beautiful gardens, so close to town. The room was large and very clean, and the ensuite was well appointed. This place...

My two students rent the spacious and beautiful 2-bedroom house with kitchen. This made their long-term stay in Ubud (5 months) amazingly pleasant. Very quiet and green environment. Extremely nice and helpful family. Great services as well. Because my students stayed for several months, Mr. Ben and Mrs. Martina were kind enough to offer them a special price. I won't...

If you are on a low budget I hardly recommend this homestay. It's clean, big rooms, comfy beds, nice garden. Comparing the price that you pay.wich is around 10 bucks you won't feel disappointed with this place. I stayed in others 7 homestays with similar rate. But! better eat outside. The meals aren't that good.

It might not have satellite TV or a pool but you will find it hard to fault this place. It was very clean fresh bed sheets every day .The family spoke good English and where very friendly and helpful. The location was good ,only 400 meters from the center of ubud. For £12 a night this place is outstanding value.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are superb. Even if a little noise from the rooster this is the same on Gili and many places! Breakfast was great and we also had dinner here for a 1/5 of the price in town as we are backpacking! Ben was great he took us on a day tour of Ubud....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ben and his wife, Ayu, welcome guests to stay in their beautiful Balinese Homestay during their visit to Ubud. Located just North of Ubud Palace and the bustling Ubud market, Ben's Homestay is on Suweta street, a quiet and serene road that is dotted with cafes, small boutique shops and Balinese temples. Upon entering Ben's Homestay, guests are greeted by friendly faces and a lush garden setting, filled with exotic flowers, mature trees and leafy plants. The 6 comfortable & clean rooms at Ben's Homestay offer sufficient privacy, and because Ben's extended family lives within the pavilion, guests know that their belongings will be secure (great for travelers with computers and other valuables) and they can sleep knowing the family dogs are on patrol all evening. Spending your time in a Balinese Homestay has other advantages - a friendly family member is always ready to share a smile, a kind greeting and a cup of tea with guests ... more   less
