Pros: it's quiet and it's well located. It has a pool. It's spacious and you get your own balcony. Cons: the mattress isn't very comfortable, we could hear the toilet flushing next door, and because of the pool it's full of mosquitoes in the evening. The breakfast isn't great. The worst thing was the service. We'd booked a fast boat...

Pros: The pool, the family that owns the space are nice (though one of them made unnecessary comments about my ethnicity), the breakfast was good for being complimentary, the location was great. Cons: The room was overpriced for the value. Tried to upcharge me by 50 IRP more than it was worth. Even on booking.com where it's more expensive than...

I stayed for about a week, during which my iPhone was stolen somewhere else. The owner was helpful in tracking down my phone's location. it was a nice family-styled environment and everyone was friendly in their own ways, yet giving you your privacy space. The owner's brother makes Gamelan and musical instruments and he gave me a brief lesson on...

I stayed at Dewa for three nights. Bubu (sic?) and his family were very nice hosts. The family all hang around outside near the entrance and it is all smiles and hellos when you walk in which left me with a smile on my face as well. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Couldn't ask for much more...

We have stayed at Dewa's many times over the years and it feels like home. Great location and simple cozy rooms with a pool make this a great spot to explore Bali from. Dewa is very accommodating and has been very good to us over the years. I would not call this place fancy but more than comfortable with the...

I've stayed here many times now over the years. About time I write a review. I totally live this place. You get a nice clean room with a pool and breakfast in the deal. The attached restaurant offers classic Indonesian dishes, Balinese dishes as we as some vegan and western options. If you're looking for a great deal with a...

Cheap and relaxing which is all I ever ask for in Ubud! Great little treat after 9 months backpacking for a few mates. Breakfast has a bit to be desired however, walk out the door and you have many organic and healthy options within throwing distance!

I cannot say enough good things about Dewa Bungalows. We stayed initially for 3 nights and liked it so much we came back to Ubud a week later and stayed for another 5 nights. More than anything, I loved Dewa Bungalows because of the incredible staff. We have been traveling for months and I have yet to be treated with...

Due to off season we could negotiate price of Rp 300k per night. This was quite okay for the given standard. You are able to have breakfast on your own terrace. Breakfast was included and standard for Indonesia. The bungalow themselves was clean, bed was comfortable. Location is quit good to walk to all attractions of Ubud. The owner can...

Location is good enough, depending on what you want to do. It is a 10-minute walk to Monkey Forest and maybe 15 minutes to the Royal Palace. Staff are friendly and helped us set up everything we wanted to do in town. They were good at stocking the room with soap and toilet paper and all of those things. However,...
