We stayed 3 nights in standard bungalows (not renovated). The room was next to the reception, without view to the garden or rice fields. We wished we had reserved a room with a rice field or pool view. The personnel was very helpful arranging tickets to dance performance and transportation. The breakfast was cooked to order and excellent, served to...

I just returned from Indo and stayed at Gayatri with some friends. It was fantastic! The staff are so friendly and accomodating. It was very central but felt like it was on the outskirts of town- a real bonus. The pool was always a very welcome distraction from the busy marketplace and it was my go-to place for cooling off...

Absolutely wonderful place for a couples retreat. Big well cleaned rooms in good condition. Nice breakfast with a few choices. The grounds are near Ubuds shops, restaurants and spas so you can walk anywhere. The staff's English is very good compared to many other Bali places.

Everything is lovely in this hotel. The kindness of the young staff who welcome you, who brings you your breakfast, who is washing and ironing your linen, who answers all the services you can ask for. In addition, this hotel is ideally placed for restaurants and shows and its setting is actually Balinese. Without forgetting to talk about its swimming...

Stayed in two rooms at Gayatri over the New Year! Both rooms had beautiful bed and bathrooms. Grounds are beautiful and quite interesting to look at with fountains, lilies, shrines. Main rooms are surrounded by a moat with playful fish and tadpoles. Each room had a lovely table and chairs outside to sit at for afternoon coffee, morning breakfast, evening...

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, and we just love it! The rooms are wonderful, the architecture is 100% traditional Balinese, overlooking rice paddies. Sheer paradise! Lovely staff and owners, nothing is too much trouble, always smiling and happy! The included breakfast is fantastic, no buffet lines, just fresh cooked local food served overlooking the rice paddies...

Gayatri is a wonderful family run hotel. It is close to the top end of Monkey Forest Rd but never noisy. It's down a quaint lane with views of the rice field from the swimming pool, which is very well maintained. The staff are WONDERFUL and they have a great menu which is very vegan friendly. (Hi to the staff...

What a beautiful place. Away from the hustle and bustle. Authentic. Super friendly staff. Perfect for relaxing. Loved the traditional rooms, rice fields and decor. Highly recommend. It's an absolute hidden gem. Ubud can be so busy and yet this place is so close but you can definitely detach.

We booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 - we loved It! Our room was spacious and the terrace was perfect for relaxing when the afternoon rains hit. The location was great and central for exploring Ubud, Monkey Forest, rice fields and the Camapuhan Ridge walk. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. If we head back...

I spent 5 very enjoyable nights at Gayatri Bingallows. The service was superb. The staff friendly and extremely accommodating. The location in central Ubud couldn't be more convient, yet once on the grounds , one is insulated from the frenetic activity of the town, it's a perfect oasis of calm. There are 3 categories of rooms and even the deluxe...
