I loved it here. Ketut and his family were so kind and helpful. Ubud was my first stop in Bali and I had booked the room for 4 days and ended up staying 10. Hibiscus Cottages is perfectly located within walking distance of everything you will need, however tucked away in the rice fields. The room was lovely too. The...

This place is just brilliant! Two minutes walk from all the conveniences and downtown Ubud but super tranquil and relaxing. It's situated in a rice paddy (how romantic!) and the sound of chirping frogs lulled us to sleep at night. Fireflies, geckos, beautiful butterflies, hibiscuses, frangipanis all right outside. The complimentary breakfast was delicious too. My husband said it was...

Beautiful place to stay in Ubud just 10 minutes walk away from Monkey Forest Road yet in a quiet location surrounded by fields. We stayed in a lovely cottage surrounded by beautiful exotic plants. Breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop. We liked it so much we went back there for another 3 nights!

Very nice unusual place to stay right in the middle of a rice paddy and very close to downtown Ubud. Quiet at night, bed was good. The rooms are a bit rustic but the ones with the king beds are brand new and very modern. I stayed in one of the older rooms and enjoyed it very much. I believe...

We stayed at the Hibiscus Cottages in July 2014. We travelled around Asia for 6 weeks, and this hotel was by far my favourite! With the exception of mildly uncomfortable beds (still slept fine), I would have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel. It is perfectly located in Ubud, with a gorgeous view at breakfast time. I always...

I decided to stay at these beautiful cottages purely on intuition and after reviewing others on this site who had experienced their stay in Ubud there. I admit to being a little anticipatory before-hand, but when my driver showed me the way through the peaceful rice paddies off the main drag, I was not disappointed. I had a standard room...

Considering the reasonable price it is a really nice hotel in the middle of rice fields. Great views from the roof terrace and nice breakfast. The standard rooms are pretty basic, but overall OK. The staff is great and is paying great attention to detail.

You'll either love or hate the location - you walk down an alleyway off JL Bisma (it's signed), then turn left at the end and then first right along a rice paddy and it's the last house on the left. I walk quickly and for me it took about 3 minutes from Bisma. Personally I loved the location as it...

We thoroughly enjoy our stays here at Hibiscus Cottages. It is just far enough away from the centre of Ubud in the rice paddies, so you can get the best of both worlds. We always feel welcomed and are well looked after each time we come. Nothing is a hassle for Kadek, Wayan, Ketut and Made. They are warm, kind...

A recent visit to this place left me wishing for other accommodations. The place looks very well decorated and quite clean, but it lacks the basic things amenities. I had to ask for basic things such as soap, towels etc. The management was quite friendly in the beginning, but cooled off when I told them I had already arranged for...
