When you first enter Sania's house, it looks like something out of a dream. Very Balinese, very beautiful, and tranquil even in the middle of the busy Ubud market. The rooms are very basic, but nice. What's weird is that there is no hand soap for the bathroom, so bring hand sanitizer or soap yourself. We stayed in two rooms,... More

We arrived into the madness of Ubud late afternoon when the streets were teaming with shoppers and scooters and we were so relieved to come through the doors of Sania's House. A most restful and beautiful place, with a small pool, lots of little nooks and crannies to relax in and lovely spacious rooms with private terrace. Loved every minute... More

It's the third time I come to Sania, this place's atmosphere is so special. The staff is very kind and the rooms are clean. Maybe the bathroom should be refurnished a bit. sania is In the center of ubud but still No noise from the outside, very cocooning. Love it

Great location close to markets and restaurants, for the price the rooms are tidy and very basic bed shower toilet, no fridge or toiletries provided, tea and coffee in the morning and breakfast was included banana pancakes are delicious! we choose to stay here for location and spent most of our time out exploring Ubud for our kinda stay was... My partner and I stayed in the top floor A/C room which had stunning views outside every window looking down at the very colourful Ubud - sunrise and sunset were amazing! Every morning we were greeted with tea and coffee, and an enjoyable breakfast to follow that was brought straight up to our balcony for us to enjoy. The rooms... More

The set up of the hotel was very pretty and for the price it was a good deal. Unfortunately our room had less character than the more central rooms, the bathroom was a bit smelly in the evening and the fan was very noisy. However we spent most of the time exploring ubud itself so these problems were minor and... More

I was a returning customer of this hostel/b&b back in 2007-2008. I stayed here around 2 weeks on each year, and found that this place has a very friendly and familiar atmosphere. I got all the travelling basic necessities covered; great breakfast, spacious rooms, and even laundry hangers. Sania's House is located in a pretty quiet alley and I have... More

This was our second time at Sania's and a much more eventful one. Our room, on one of the upper towers, was very spacious and pleasant. The balcony, where we were served breakfast, was beautiful as we were able to see birds flitting from tree to tree. However, on our second morning, a good-sized monkey joined us on the balcony... Central place in markets of Ubud. Original style, good breakfast as far as the free breakfasts go. Couple of tips: no access by car because it's located down cobble stone market laneway, so consider how to carry bags if you have suitcases; toilets in rooms at back of facility smell really bad. We fixed the loo smell by putting a... More

Excellent location near the monkey Forrest in center Ubud. The villa is incredibly beautiful, rooms are ok, simple but correct, be aware they don't clean it every day, we stayed for 4 days and kept clean by our self. Nice breakfast included served on your terrace. I would totally recommend it to travelers looking for convince and character instead of... More

“Be sure to book an A/C room because some have only fans. The heat and humidity at night can make it unbearable for sleeping. Also the hotel seemed to charge an exorbitant mark-up for transportation booked through them. (A car hired in Sanur was only 450k per day whereas a car hired for the same duration through Sania Guest house was 750k per day.)”
