WARNING: closed until April 11th 2016 for thorough cleaning. This hostel has everything you need as a backpacker and a bit more. The rooms are clean and have air-con, there's free water, coffee and tea and a communal kitchen, equipped enough to cook simple meals. There's a pool, a free storage area and 2 hangouts to chill or watch tv....

Lovely backpacker hostel in Sanur, fairly close to the beach and night life. Mia, the owner and her sister are very helpful, they will sort you out whatever you need.I have stayed here three times in one and a half year and just good things i experienced. It is a backpacker place, you can meet many like minded young people...

I love this hostel! I stayed here for about a month in november/december, and I met so many wonderful people there that I'm still in contact with. The local bar (Linga Longa) is in walking distance. I will definitily visit BP again if I'm ever in Bali.

I booked for 2 nights and before I wanted to go to bed the first night (new years eve) I checked the mattress with the flashlight on my smartphone and I saw bedbugs walking all over the mattress. I went to the communal area and sat at the table and didn't get any sleep at all, because I didn't want...

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed this hostel. Staff were great. Was easy to talk to everyone here, film area was great, pool was good to cool off. You can walk everywhere as its good location but Sanur was about boring anyway, not a lot to do or see. Bed was comfy only downside is air con is put on...

Stayed here for three nights. The location is walking distance to everything in Sanur but in saying that the beach is certainly a solid 20 minutes away, not the 10 minutes that has been advertised elsewhere. Breakfast isn't included but there's a large communal kitchen that's more than apt for hostel goers to prepare their own breakfast. Free water is...

Big pineapple was clean, comfortable and Mia is a great host. Nothing's too much for her to help you with! Would absolutely stay again, near bars/restaurants and shops and beach 10 mins or less away. Little food place 5 minute walk away for good food underas dollar. Downsides are that you have to cross a busy highway to reach said...

Lovely pool to chill at when you are too warm. Helpful staff able to give information about anything. Great place to stay in Sanur, met loads of other backpackers. No breakfast included in price but a large communal kitchen. Only awkward thing is having to cross a busy highway to go into town.

A great hostel indeed! Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and even a swimming pool! Close to many restaurants and a good atmosphere. Don't expect a party hostel, though. But then, that's not the reason you would go to Sanur anyways... I would definitely recommend this place. Just do it!

Big Pineapple will forever remain the Shangri-la of my Indonesian journey. Sanur is not a snore, do not listen to the haters, they just don't know how to discover the beauties in a place. Rent a scooter and you're within reach to Changgu, Seminyak, Ubud and a short bus ride to the port that'll take you to Lombok or the...
