This is a petite hotel. We booked this hotel for our sailing trip and I stayed in a room with a roommate. I like staying in this hotel together with a group of people and I think it feels like staying a big group of Vilas. Since we know everyone, it does feel like home. They also have a good...

We had a really wonderful stay at the beautiful Gardenia Guesthouse. The accessible room was ideal for my son and the accommodation overall was lovely. What makes it so special, though, is the welcoming attitude of the wonderful staff who work there. Nothing was too much trouble and added to the warm, family environment. Thank you Made, Isti and the...

We tried to book into Gardenia at the astari of our Bali visit, but Gardenia was booked out. When asked if Made had other suggestions/recommendations, she did, their sister hotel, the Majestic Marigold (which was excellent too!) On our last two nights in Sanur we were staying at the Gardenia and we were a big mixed family of 5 adults...

10/10 great eats and great afternoon drinks. We spent several relaxing hours here. decent cocktail options at a reasonable price, accommodating staff, near to beach, good menu options. Recommend it and would visit again.

My wife (who uses a wheelchair) and I, returned home last week from this wonderful accommodation, where we spent two months. The entire property is set within many plants and trees which gives it a very peaceful aurora. There was a pomegranate tree growing right outside our bungalow. There are only seven bungalows, of varying configurations, of which two have...

We took a family holiday during Chinese New Year. We wanted something laid back so we chose Sanur and Gardenia guesthouse was a quintessentially laid back type of B&B. Villas (Rooms) surrounded a small swimming pool and there were plenty of greenery. Pathways leading to the rooms didn't have any shelter, so you're at the mercy of the elements. That...

So happy I stumbled across Gardenia. In a lovely, tree lined part of Jalan Mertasari, it has a beautiful simplicity and the most delightful staff. Isti in particular made me feel so welcome. Rooms very clean , good airconditioning, soft pillows and good bed. Bathrooms could probably be upgraded but this is extreme value for money in my opinion. Nice...

We recently stayed here and enjoyed the fact that for a change the obligatory Bali roosters were absent! Clean, comfortable and friendly. There are only about 6 villas in total so it is quiet and more personal. The food is very nice and I can recommend the big breakfast if you are hungry, otherwise the included breakfast is more than...

This is a little treasure, - perhaps being just a tad out of town is a Plus - plenty of shops and eateries in the vacinity but it's so cosy, quiet and very interesting. The small boutique has some unusual and interesting clothes and fabrics, the front cafe (shaded but open) is also very welcoming and the food is just...

We love going here for coffee after dinner but yesterday we went for breakfast. They really do a lovely breakfast. More staff were needed as it was busy and we had to wait a while for our table to be cleared, but we will return.
