After a nice day driving up to the north of Bali from the airport we arrived at Villa Manuk around 5pm. The drive was quite interesting and our driver had to call to ask for direction, one of the staff came down the street with his motorbike and we followed him for the last kilometer or so. We got of...

Recently stayed at Manuk and occupied 3 rooms. This was the highlight of our trip in Bali. ABsolutely perfect retreat with wonderful relaxing location and home cooked meals. Staff very pleasant and locals in the area delightful. Can't wait to return. The cool spring water pool was devine, just wished we had stayed more than the 2 nights.

My husband and I booked the Bambu Ground Floor Double Room at Villa Manuk for one night in Jan 2013 for $64 USD (cash only) with booking.com. Breakfast cost an additional $6.50 per person. As the hotel is in a fairly remote location we also booked dinner in advance. Even with our local driver, written instructions and GPS I have...

Our story about villa Manuk started six years ago. At that time, we booked a tour with Nyoman to the sekumpul Waterfalls and a short visit at the villa Manuk. Villa Manuk was under construction at that time Returning home we decide to return to that wonderful place because it was amazing and remain in our Head for a very...

After staying at Villa Manuk it's hard to imagine ever wanting to visit Bali's tourist precinct again. Set way off the beaten track overlooking beautiful, terraced rice fields. With only four accommodation units, fresh spring fed pool and outdoor dining area, it's well worth the schlep from Denpasar. The staff are friendly and most helpful. We'll be back!

We stayed two days at Villa Manuk this August and it was great. It's a gorgeous place to escape from the animated south of Bali and just relax in a beautiful, natural surrounding area. I recommend the rooms on the secomd floor as you have a beatiful view on the paddies and the jungle. It was beautiful to walk through...
