Dear Yushita, Thank you for choosing us as a destination to spend your precious holiday with. You are right, our all inclusive package is giving many extra benefits, some which are all day dining, free flow beverages, free non-motorized water sports, discounts on spa treatments and numerous entertainments at everyday dinner. This offer sets everyone free from calculating how much to spend day to day. Hassle free. It would be lovely to have you back. With kind regards, The Management

First of all let me start by saying ignore the bad reviews , i'm not even sure if those people stayed in the same hotel...
We stayed for an amazing 3 weeks ( wish it was longer ) . Check in quick after a very long flight from the UK . A cold flannel and welcome drink and our cases whizzed off to our room . We were taken to our room and WOW! immaculate , and decorated in typical Balinese style . Fresh fruit , fresh flowers and brilliant A/C .
24 hour AI so we headed off to the Soka for food and drinks . Good food and good drinks.
Buffet restaurant Ratna was good , always something for everyone ( even the Pizza and chips brigade ) never made breakfast so can't review what it was like .
Didn't eat at Cempaka so once again can't review.
Plenty of bars server good cocktails and good soft and alcoholic drinks.
The beach is nice , but tidal so sometimes couldn't swim but could always cool down. My only bug bear are there are not enough ashtrays for the people that smoke and the beach is littered with filthy cigarette ends , disgusting.
All new Sun lounger cushions which look really nice and are super comfy! Plenty of beach shades which is a good thing as it was too hot to lay directly in the sun but we both are super tan and didn't burn.
Our room was in a perfect position for walking and not far from anything.
Didn't go to the pool , not a fan of swim up bars where people seem to sit and drink for hours s and surprisingly never leave to go to the bathroom.

Gardens immaculate , the staff work so hard so keep it looking nice.
A shop downstairs in the lobby bar for gifts etc, but there is a Supermarket opposite outside and the very nice guards will stop the traffic for you to cross the road.
Now the staff... the management should be proud as they are ALL super friendly , always a smile and a greeting . Nothing is too much trouble . They dress immaculately , so nice. They remembered our drinks , especially mine as i drink Gin & Soda , got a few puzzled looks at first but when we explained i wanted it mixed not separate all was fine , and i hardly ever had to ask again , they knew .
Free shuttle bus to the Bali Collection , just ask at reception .
My husband was a huge fan of the Spa, he went lots of times for a massage and facials , such great value for money too.
Lots of restaurants outside , we visited the Royal Orchid a few times , they did the most amazing Lobster ! yum! 2 courses and drinks for around £20 for two , can't beat that .
Will finish by thanking EVERYONE for making out holiday amazing , we will be back and are looking at flights for October.
Terima kasih banyak !
Dawn & Steve x

Situated on the beach, this hotel is delightfully positioned. With a fabulous paved path that winds all around the beach past numerous hotels, this is a great walking path for those who want to exercise or simply take in the beach sights. This outstanding historical hotel is majestic and oozes history and thoughtful planning. The gardens and fountains and water features are simply sublime. The attention to detail throughout this delightful establishment will please even the most fastidious guest.
The buffet breakfast was spectacular to say the least. We enjoyed snacks throughout the day and 2 lovely romantic dinners at night. Everything was faultless. The staff are a credit to the owner of this beautiful hotel. Every morning the gardeners would give us the biggest smiles and greet us. The wait staff, concierge, the cleaners and security staff too, everyone so happy and polite and sweet. Our stay was simply wonderful in every sense of the word. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone seeking special on every level.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at Bali Tropic for our Honeymoon in January. Our plan was to do as little as possible and embrace resort life, which was absolutely perfect for the setting and time of the year.

Quite quiet in general at all of the resorts in Nusa Dua, we had free reign of all opportunities if wanted.

Our room was enormous and had a bath in living area, which was amazing. All features were solid, sturdy, timeless Balinese style in marble and dark wood. On the balcony you could sit and watch the fish in the pond and see the luscious gardens.

Spent a lot of time in the pool area which had a swim up bar. Cocktails were pretty good but music was terrible angsty teenage punk rock we could have done without. Bartenders really attentive and lovely.

Breakfast buffet was included and quite impressive in terms of options. Cooked western and Asian style, fresh fruit, cereal, pancakes, waffles, juice, etc. We did eat other meals during our stay but the kitchen definitely needs some modernising if it wants to compete with the surrounding resorts. Menu is quite dated. In saying that we did do the Balinese buffet evening with traditional dance which was an absolutely mesmerising experience and would highly recommend.

All in all would definitely stay at Bali Tropic again but if you’re looking for up market, modern and super luxurious you can do better but probably pay a bit more for another resort along the beach.

Very nice looking hotel in pure Balinese style. Very good rooms, bed, service.
However, be aware that their website is not correct. Our agent advised that we could use the catamaran and windsurf and that was the purpose of our choice and if you don't have a full package with 3 meals, you will have to pay extra for almost all other activities and it is not cheap. That's almost fake advertising as they only say that you can have the non motorised watersports, they just don't say you have to pay for it.
Other than that, food is great, staff are all friendly, lot of them speak good English and also French. Pool is clean, they play Good Charlotte all the time. There are pools, ping pong, volley ball and we enjoyed 11 days with them.

Dear Venture, Thank you fro choosing to stay with us. What a reward it is to know that you mostly enjoy your time. As for catamaran and windsurf, it is free for guests with "all inclusive" package. Your agent should have known it well, too. We are not promoting fake information on it. It is sensible if you are not on a "all inclusive" package, then it would be on an extra charge. Above all, you definitely are our valuable guest, and looking forward for a better experience in the future. Wish your day is a great one. With kind regards, The Management

Don't trust the photo that they advertise. This resort does not have a clean beach... Better off going to other nusa dua beach resorts. The beach had so much rubbish that no guest or person was swimming in the ocean. There is also a sewrage pipe that goes into the beach which makes the whole place stink.

Also beware of mosquitos their is so many even in your room.

Breakfast is below average with flies on all the food and limited choice.

Also when checking in you will be required to pay the exchange rate they have at the hotel so you could be paying $50-$160 more that anticipated. Once they take your money the customer service is gone. You will also be required to leave a $100 AUD bond.. leave cash and not credit card and when checking out make sure they return that amount to you.

Also our room smelt like sewrage the whole time and was unbearable to stay/ sleep in. Brought the issue up with reception but couldn't transfer into another room. So we spend our days and nights at other resorts and didn't spend any extra money here.

Dear Travelguru, We are devastated to learn that your time with us was not the best as it could be. Firstly, we have anticipated the organic rubbish on the seashore, resulted from the natural processes, by dragging away everyday for cleanliness. Secondly, we do regular pest controlling, including mosquitoes, but we'll inspect the area more thoroughly for better coverage. Similar to your feedback with food and room, we'll monitor better. Lastly, about the 50% deposit, it is NOT an extra charge. It is just a guarantee amount for your daily spent, which would definitely be returned, should you spend nothing of it. We are sorry once again to hear your less enjoyable experience and wish you a better day. With kind regards, The Management

Stunning Traditional Balinese Resort with Tropical gardens and winding paths to the individual Bungalows that have complete privacy. The stunning temple and Balinese architecture, ponds and statues make you feel as if you’re living in the jungle. The grounds are immaculate, lush and full of nooks and crannies to explore.

Bungalows are spacious and clean with traditional wooden doors, furniture and glossy marble floors. Bathrooms are cleverly laid out with stone, wood & marble surfaces. The essential aircon quiet & daily room clean perfect.

All Restaurants cater for all cuisines, affordable and delicious. The pool is large with ample loungers and the centre of the resort layout. The swim up bar cocktail menu is extensive and the bar staff always up for a chat and laugh. The biggest assets this resort has is its staff. From the administration, wait staff, bar staff and the garden crew, always a smile and hello in passing.

During our stay we also used the Spa - traditional Balinese massage was amazing! Our teen girls enjoyed their facials and the ladies were very professional. On Fridays there is a Cultural evening with traditional music and dancers on the lit up stage in from of the Temple complete with a Balinese buffet feast.

We also arranged through the resort to hire a driver for the day to take us to Ubud and visit a few of the tourist sites, rice paddies, waterfalls etc. Agus was the perfect tour guide speaking excellent English and our day with him was entertaining and educational, all at a much more reasonable price than the tour guide operators.

We stayed here for 12 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every single thing. Other facilities & things to do is of course the beach, the gym, games room & library/reading area. Mini golf putting green, small shops with souvenirs. And across the road a bakery, mini mart and several local restaurants along the road.

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a wider trip across Bali.
The hotel is Balinese in style and we opted for a deluxe bungalow.
Our room was lovely with good size bed, bathroom and great rainforest shower. Very good air conditioning in the room and bottled water replenished daily along with linen and towel change.
The grounds of the hotel are lovely and we spent most days on sun beds near the beach in front of the bar area. Staff here were lovely.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful with a great buffet selection as well as egg, pancake, waffle station.
We ate in the beach restaurant every night. The food selection was good & reasonably priced.
There was an entertainment programme each evening music/band which added a nice atmosphere when dining.
The resort has its own temple and we were lucky enough to be there when they had local celebrations.
Overall a really enjoyable stay.

Please note - the beach directly in front of the hotel isn’t great for access/swimming. This was a bit disappointing as I love the sea. It’s much nicer further along the bay where there are less boats and jet skis. The water wasn’t overly clean purely due to the amount of small boats and jet skis constantly driving up & down during the day. At times it was a bit annoying, however, I appreciate something out of the hotels control.
Other than this, I would definitely recommend the hotel.

We stayed at Bali Tropic several years ago and loved it. Last September we booked a different hotel in Nusa Dua only for a change. Bad mistake, should have just gone back to Bali Tropic. After one night in the Melia we walked down the path and booked into the Bali Tropic. Knowing full well we would get no refund from the Melia but we were so relieved to find Bali Tropic had a bungalow that we could stay in for the remaining 9 days. The staff at this hotel are the most caring and beautiful people. Always remembering your name, your favourite breakfast table and having my gluten free bread ready and waiting every morning. Of which I must say was delicious! A birthday cake arrived at my room on the evening of my birthday with my name written on it. We hadn't told them it was my birthday, but they must have got this from my passport. As it is a smaller more intimate hotel you feel so much more welcomed. The food at the restaurants is so much cheaper than any hotel in Nusa Dua, very reasonable. I have food intolerances, and these were accommodated each evening. The hotel is good walking distance to Bali Collection. Little market right next door with great selection of Bali souvenirs. I have just booked here for September 2023 and am taking my daughter, husband and 1 year old child. This time I am staying in a suite, so looking forward to that.
