Got the standard room. Simple, basic and clean. Won't find friendlier, more helpful staff. Definitely value for money. No hot water and bit confusing to find, wouldn't recommend girls to travel alone at night but it's pretty well lit anyway if you wanna risk it. Overall, great stay!

The Kubu hotel is a simple budget hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice swimmingpool! Good location, not too noisy at night, located in the centre and near the beach. Breakfast was not the best. Wifi only in the breakfast area.

It's quite ok for a budget hotel - but than again the room had quite a funny smell and could use a pot of fresh paint. And maybe some new mattresses there seemed to be a problem with bucks I saw one blood sucker other than that the hotel would be an ok choice.

My friend and I booked at this hotel because it was cheap and looked great in the pictures. When we arrived we were led up the stairs to the 3rd floor to a room that basically looked like a hostel room. The fan isn't a ceiling fan and doesn't keep the room cool at all. Our room felt like a...

The staff at The Kubu hotel in kuta were the friendliest most amazing group of people we met during our entire stay in bali. There was nothing that was too difficult to organise. When you stay at the Kubu everything is within walking distance and the shops and laundry service across from the hotel take the time to learn your...

I stayed for 4 days here and room was quite spacious and direct sunshine through the balcony, with free wifi and TV. Hotel is at walking distance from kuta beach and market area. They provide morning breakfast also.

We only stayed in this hotel for one night as we were passing through Bali and catching a flight early next the morning. Lucky enough in that sense! We checked in and the accommodation looked nice, there was a pool, rooms were spacious enough, we had a nice balcony overlooking the pool and it was centrally located to everything nightclubs,...

Nice hotel in the center of Kuta and quiet but my room was dirty. In fact there was water leaking from the roof and it smelled like moisture. The bathroom was also bad with no pressure for the shower. In the morning the staff was not very friendly but the shift in the afternoon was great. The swimming pool was...

Despite reviews listing problems such as not having phone and fridges or poor tv channels: I definitely didn't go to Bali to call reception, drink or eat in my room and definitely not to whatc tv! For $20 a night you really can't go wrong. The staff are nice and courteous, by the 2nd night they knew me by name....

All rooms on 3rd floor have bedbugs, after one night I had at least 20 bites...staff is not overly friendly, breakfast is included but very basic (till 11am) you will be still hungry afterwards We also overheard that a guest had to pay for a 5min late checkout...not very nice, notice checkout is at 11am nice pool though, the price...
