Great option for a basic midrange hotel that is a 5 minute walk to the entrance gate to the Taj Mahal. The main road is blocked to car/tuk-tuk traffic so you have to hike in with your bags but it is much nicer to walk around leisurely without the constant horns. Rooms are a little small (for a family of...

The location is very convenient if you want to visit Taj Mahal early in the mornig. the street does not allow vehicles so you might have to cary your luggages to the hotel. Service of the reception was not bad as we checked in very late. The rooms were reasonable given the price and bathrooms were clean. Main down side...

Had a very hard time finding the place through the rush hour Agra traffic and no wonder it is in an ally not allowing any cars,So it is pleasantly quiet and has a courtyard with a gazebo restaurant in the middle. and a nice patch of flowers and trees. Rooms are very clean and have bathroom with hot water, television...

It's a great location - literally just up from the West Gate of the Taj on a "no traffic" street, which means that two wheelers are actually allowed, so it's still relatively noisy if you have an outside room (as the windows don't shut properly). We had room 104 - on the outside, other face into the inner courtyard, where...

I booked a room at this hotel for a day's stay and visited Taj Mahal on V-Day. Overall experience was very good. Rooms are neat when we occupied, hot water was available. Only negative is the Hotel did not provide a complimentary pick up though their website mentioned that guests can avail this facility by calling them one day in...

We stayed here for two nights during February and could not be more pleased with the place. Two thumbs up! Pros: - location location location, so unbelievably close to the west gate and ticket office. It made it so much easier to beat the crowds in the morning - rickshaws are not allowed on the road right next to the...

Really great budget option if your priority is to see the Taj Mahal and sleep for cheap! The bedsheets were not very clean on the downside, but the beds were reasonably comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the manager obliged us with a faux-cockney accent... hilarious

From the padlock on my room door, to the stained mattress cover and tartan blanket on the bed, to the squalid bathroom, this place resembles a second world prison. Can't understand why Lonely Planet describes the rooms as 'very smart'. Completely insane. The one saving grace is the location - less than a minute from the gates of the Taj...

From the outside this would look like an old Shabby hotel. However, we still checked in due to its proximity to the Taj (literally three minute-walk to West gate ticket counter) and its budget pricing. We got a room on the ground floor and were surprised to note the rooms were pretty well maintained. The bathroom for instance didn't have...
