This hotel was ok for what you may need for 1 or 2 nights , The front rooms are VERY noisey, but great views of the Tag Mahal, dont pay too much 500rupees for the top roof room, They do make a great cup of tea or coffee .

This place although a little expensive due to its place in the lonely planet guide is a good place to stay- the price can probably be haggled further. It has a nice view from the roof and the rooms are comfortable, with a big comfy bed. Our shower head broke first time we used it and they fixed it immediately...

I was quoted a good price over the phone of 400 rupees for a double room. The hotel is fine for the price. However, on checkout the rate was doubled, with the manager saying "when you arrived I told you the room was 800 and you said 'ok'." I simply said no, that I would pay the quoted price, while...

this is my email to the Rough Guide.... Hello Rough Guide I booked this hotel for 2 nights, (yesterday and tonight) and told them we would be arriving from Jaipur at 2130 yesterday evening. They said fine, took my name and said there would be a double room available for 500Rs per night. When we arrived on time, they were...

The hotel is a complete con despite the owner coming across as a genuine guy. His son and other staff are nothing short of con artists. We stayed at the hotel as its proximity to the Taj Mahal is fantastic however the bathrooms are filthy, bedding is unclean and the windows (facing into the hotel) aren't covered up. We used...

We booked a non AC room through Agoda for about 850-900 rupees. We arrived late in the evening and had no problems getting the room. But when we checked out it seemed they didn't know about our Agoda booking cause they tried to charge us 500 rupees for the room. (So Agoda charged us 250 -300 rupees more than they...

The hotel is just 5 minutes from the Tah Mahal and the view from the rooftop restaurant is fabulous. Over breakfast or in the late afternoon we spent many hours drinking masala tea or coffee observing life on the rooftops of the city (flying kites, training pigeons, monkeys) and the street below (cows, religious parade, local traffic). The hotel is...

Gross!! This place was recommended in Rough Guide but do NOT stay here. We had to ask for another room that had a lock that worked on the door. The management is very shady here. They tried to charge us more then what was quoted when we called and arrived. We would have gone somewhere else but everything else was...
