We had a pleasant overnight stay at the Lymond House. We arrived here after a long car drive and we're looking forward to a good meal. It was one of the best meals we have had on our 40 day trip of India. The price was very affordable. Our room was very comfortable and the Wifi was available in the... More

We are so pleased we chose Lymond House for our 2-night stay. Situated in a delightful garden in a quiet street, this was the perfect place to soak up the ambiance of times past. The bungalow has been sympathetically maintained in the style of its time with lots of antiques and memorabilia. The current owner's grandfather was an associate of... More

Wanted to add a quick note on our stay at "Lymond House". The stay was truly memorable and honestly , I was more than happy to indulge for a while in the old world charm (with a pinch of eeriness in a good way) of the surrounding , with its wooden flooring, the fireplace, and a collection of various precious... The 2 acre grounds of Lymond House is magnificent and the rooms are decent as well. We occupied Flora for 2 days, and we were quite satisfied with the rooms. However, the management was a little lacking in proper courtesy. The Manager there, Jagadish, did not inform us about the amenities that we had paid to avail. For example, he... More

The property is in heart of city and is a Victorian house with the feel of old England charm. Staff is very humble. Good food served in resturant and breakfast. Only one concern. Please start keeping hot ketal in rooms for tea and coffee

This house is a quiet getaway from the bustle within Ooty. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous and kindof take you back to an age past. The owners have managed to keep the old charm yet make the atmosphere modern enough to be comfortable and charming. The menu is varied and we were not disappointed with any of food... More

Lymond house is a colonial place tucked in from all sides from the hustle and bustle of Ooty town. The calm and quiet atmosphere, the well maintained gardens & sit outs, the wooden architecture give you a brief glimpse of Ooty's colonial splendor. The website would give more information about the rooms. We stayed in Flora which though is a... More
