Very disappointed. Sheets were stained and took 3 attempts to get clean ones. Toilet and bathroom disgusting and room had strong smell of fumes (petrol). Manager did offer to upgrade room but as these were as dirty as ours so we didn't bother. Photos on booking.com must have been taken a very long time ago. Very over-priced at 1,100 rupees...

The hotel is located very close (walkable distance) to Meenakshi Amman temple. The rooms are of decent size and cleanliness was nothing remarkable. The toilets were very old and overall the rooms were poorly maintained. Sometimes even I felt that the price they have quoted for the rooms were overpriced for the poor maintenance.

Radhakrishna Hotel was the second hotel I had stayed at in Madurai during my trip. Could not return to Hotel Sabarees because there were no rooms available. It was all good, had my parents check in while I was waiting for some of our luggage to be brought in. When I had walked in, I was interrogated by the receptionist...

When we arrived there were several people sleeping on the floor in the lobby. Although I have no problem with that necessarily, it gave an odd vibe to walk in on. We filled out the regular paperwork...

Overall not a great experience. The hotel is clean with a good location. However, staff manners were poor. The room is expensive for what it is - basic room with no towels/soap/hot water, and windows don't close so it lets mosquitoes in. You can get cheaper in the area if you ask around

Stayed here on 7th February 2015. The rooms are good. Hot water is available. Walkable distance to Madurai Meenakshi Temple. But the bed sheets were not clean enough. Two lifts available. Altogether it was fine.

Good hotel, easily reachable from Airport and located at a very good place. Walking distance for meenakshi temple. Good place to stay. A budget hotel I must say. Clean place, good bed, great food (specially sambhar vada, dhosa, idly). Toilets are filthy and in bad condition. Available at a good rate. Staff cooperative, polite and helpful. Language problem is too...
