Stayed a few nights on our honeymoon. Location: The streets are narrow here so it is accessable by tuk tuk motorcycle and walking only. The old city can be a little disorienting thankfully the guesthouse has plenty of signs guiding you once you are near. The owners also provide a map of nearby attractions, including the nearby clocktower. The rooftop...

We stayed in the Heritage Suite which has the best view of the fort. The room was spacious, clean, traditionally decorated yet very comfortable. Well worth the 5mn tuk tuk through the narrow streets and the noise of the temple bells - they added to the lovely experience! Banana and honey pancake for breakfast was delicious and the view from...

It's an advanced guest house - not a hotel. Breakfast is not included. Note that there's no car access to the place and only a rickshaw can bring your luggage up and down (about 100 Rs). walking to the carr-accessed road taks about 10 minutes. The temple below is noisy in the morning. The staff is helpful and the rooms are...

Being run by the 5th generation, this place retains its old world charm like its nobody's business. The quaint 350 year old haveli lodged in the old city is nothing more than breathtaking. Given that the gastronomical experience on the city's streets was simply something that words can't do justice to, this haveli belts out an equally scrumptuous affair from...

Shahi guesthouse is a wonderful, authentic hotel where we had an amazing time. The location is great, a quiet oasis in the buzz of the old town, on walking distance from the clock tower and well signposted. The rooms are large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hotel itself has the Lively feeling of old Rajasthan, but with all the modern...

I would like to write an honest review about this property. I have stayed in many airbnb properties and this is a basic version of one of those. Firstly there is absolutely no car access to this place and we had to call the hotel person to arrange for Tuk tuk. We were crammed in one of that vehicle with...

We stayed in the Shahi suite, up a few flights of narrow stairs which we didn't find at all arduous (I'm 71), so we had great views to the Fort & over the neighbourhood and were nice and close to the restaurant where we were served totally delicious meals by friendly and obliging staff. Our room was magnificent - stylishly...

This was a lovely place to stay. Our rooms had views of the fort and the views from the roof top ceiling were spectacular. We loved being in the old city but tucked away ion a quiet area, with easy access to the main street. The rooms were large and comfortable, with big bathrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food...

So glad we booked here for three nights. The owner and staff are friendly. The haveli is charming and possesses a lot of character. Value is excellent and the room was lovely. Good wifi and hot shower! Staying in the old city lends itself to a unique and very local experience.
