Shahi was a breath of fresh air after leaving crowded Delhi. It is right in the heart of the old town, ask Mannu (the owner) to arrange a tuktuk for you from the airport. 15 minutes later you pass through the bazaar to Shahi's gates and you will be stunned at how cozy the architecture of this ancient mansion feels....

Shahi was stunning - an amazing and historic building that exhuberated charm. The roof top restaurant with incredible views of the Fort was the jewel in the crown with gorgeous food served on a well maintained and designed roof terrace (double layered). When we arrived, we were shown to two available rooms (we'd booked in advance but different rooms were...

We spent three nights here. Rickshaws are reluctant to go right to the door though we did get them from the door to get to the station. It's a 10 minute walk to the Clock Tower and about twenty up to the fort. Clean spacious rooms and great view from the one just under the rooftop. It can be noisy...

Very spacious and clean rooms. Location is a little bit difficult to navigate, and is ideal for backpackers with less luggage to carry. You will enjoy the views from the teraace, and staying in the old city areas. Good restaurants close by too.

I spent 6 nights at Shahi Haveli and was safe, clean, comfortable, rested and well-fed. It's a character-filled old building, family owned and run, tucked amongst the beautiful, indigo -painted Jodhpur old city. Lots of great photo opportunities of the intriguing alleyways, the local Hare Krishna temples and the interesting inhabitants, including giggling children who are always keen for a...

Although the Shahi guest house has surprisingly upscale-y bathrooms, I sorely regret having booked there. The guest house is quite far from the clock-tower center and is hard to access via tuk-tuk. There is a temple or mosque across the narrow alley with chanting going on at all hours and the rooms are extremely loud. The owners lack the grace...

We were recommended Shahi and it didn't disappoint. Comfy beds (not easy to find in India..), good running hot shower and great owners. We stayed in the top room and the views were lovely and the bathroom was new. Oh and a cute rooftop cafe with beautiful views of the fort. We will be back!!

This is a lovely havali that is out in the middle of nowhere... Not next to shops or restaurants. There are much better places to stay that are closer to the clock tower and activity but still tucked away enough that the are not noisy. You have to try to get a rickshaw to go anywhere from here. The internet...

This is a gorgeous 350 year old haveli converted into a hotel in Jodhpur. Fantastic location with great views of the impressive fort. Staff are lovely and helpful and it has a quiet family owned and run feel to it. They can assist with transport and suggestions on what to do and see. The rooftop restaurant is awesome- we ate...

Like you have probably read this hotel is over 300 years old and is quite well maintained and in good condition, I think it is run as a family business. We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved our room. It was spacious and filled with antiques and gave you a real sense of history (thankfully the rooms are...
