Room was really cozy and clean. Hotel is very near to the fort entrance and also the rooftop cafe have direct view of the jaisalmer fort. The owner is friendly. You can even safely keep your luggage in the locker room at hotel, if your train is after checkout time.

I didn't stay at this hotel but they organized a desert safari for us. It was the cheapest we found in Jaisalmer and was half the price of where we were staying! Raj (the camel owner) took us out and it was wonderful. Lovely trek, amazing food and comfortable bed under the stars! Couldn't recommend Raj enough for giving us...

This great quiet place just outside the fort main wall is a real gem. The prices are good, the rooms are spacious, majestically decorated and the view to the fort is beautiful. To me, the attitude of the employees (and especially Bupesh) is the best thing, they are just always happy to assist. Bupesh is a fountain of stories, his...

Great family owned hotel with a far too much history to fathom. The hotels facilities are great and the cook culinary skills are well above average. The owner Bupesh has made my stay in Jaisalmer unforgettable, so so welcoming and hospitable. When I return to this beautiful state I will 100% be staying at the Jeet Mahal!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Jeetmahal has 6 lovely rooms, and is in a great location just outside the Fort gates, and is very close to markets and main attractions in Jaisalmer. The hotel is an old heritage building which was built in the first decade of the eighteenth century by Jeetmal Bissa, who served as an architect at the Royal Palace of Jaisalmer. He surprisingly constructed this fabulous Haveli in his spare time, when he was not required to attend the Royal Palace. The haveli has jharokhas of exquisite carvings and this heritage haveli still has a wonderful atmosphere of old Jaisalmer.
