We stayed for two nights and a day here. The location is easy to spot and the hotel has fairly good ambience. The little 'touches' like the paintings on the walls, the decor, the book swap point, tastefully decorated rooms and a tiny garden takes our breath away. Some construction work is happening around the place and was a bit...

We stayed at chrissies for a total of 8 nights and loved every second of it! The rooms we stayed in were beautiful with attention payed to all the small details and the balconies offered a nice spot to chill and watch the monkeys. ( we also saw an actual porcupine a family of wild bores and a mouse deer!)...

Really nice hotel. It's a quaint, friendly place that would suit someone looking for a mountain retreat than someone looking for a luxury hotel. The rooms were all adequate, we stayed on the top floor so had wonderful views through the trees. The staff are all very friendly and the monkeys that visit are so cute! Really nice place in...

Thekkady was our second stop on our 3 week trip to South Kerala, and looking back, Chrissie's was one of the very nicest places we stayed at. We arrived to a warm reception and were quickly booked in. To reach our room, there was a short walk from the reception/restaurant building through a breathtaking garden with a gazillion different plants...

This is a different hotel. If you go there with proper expectations you will be delighted. The view from the room is like you are in midst of a jungle. Even in daytime you hear the typical insect sounds you would hear late nights in city gardens. The view from our balcony was of trees and trees - nothing else....

We were three in the suite. The room was beautiful with nice view. Clean and comfortable. Hot water, a smal kitchenette with sink and coffee kettle . Adal was fantastic, helpful, kind and honest. We also had a nice salad on in the restaurant on the roof.

People are really good and honest. I talked to both the owners and they are very honest in their opinion. Either it be the suggestion for the restaurant or other activities in Thekkady, they gave their honest opinions. Room is simple, clean and neat. But things can be improved in the room, For eg. showers. Outside area are very good.

We stayed in ground floor. Room is average but clean. Staff is very courteous and helpful, and owner Adel is a wonderful guy. Hotel premises is covered with lush green garden with tall trees. Can spot different kinds of birds, long-tailed macaques, Indian giant squirrels from balcony. Limited food menu but of good quality. Lots of other restaurants nearby. Overall,...

rooms are quite dull; back side of rooms is always open to jungle type dense garden - which is bit insecured to stay. room door locks should be checked before you book a room, food availability should be checked too. 2km from tiger reserve forest gate Dal and rice is good food for dinner
