Stayed here last week and I can't fault the place. We had a very warm welcome from Zack and his wife, and nothing was too much effort. They offered us food and drink and assistance in organising some activities. They were very helpful.
I went with a group of 16 and the hospitality of Zach and Romaine was amazing, i would definitely go back, the food was amazing and i always felt comfortable, like they were a family as soon as we arrived they were so so welcoming!
Recently visited with a school group from World Challenge. Was a little cramped with 16 people. Found Zac and Romini to be wonderful hosts. If you were going in a smaller group the place would be fantastic. The meals were great, ask Romini to make...More

Zachary & Romaine looked after our large group of students just like we were their own daughters & sons! Cooking and hospitality was outstanding and they even helped us book & get the best price in town for many activities nearby! Highly rated!
Set against the backdrop of the misty mountains of Kurushumala, the lush meadows of Periyar nearby and the calm village ambience make this a great base to explore the beautiful area of Periyar. The homestay is ideally located less than a kilometer from Kumily town, the spice garden of India and borders the famed forest of Periyar Tiger Reserve.
