We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed the experience. The owners are most friendly and the room was spacious with good en suite facilities. The food was cooked to order and my husband asked for a special curry which was freshly prepared and the best meal he had all holiday.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of Kerala organised by Citrus Holidays. The owner was a very gentle gentleman who could not do enough for his guests. Food was served in a separate building (upstairs) where there was a show kitchen, two chefs and six very large tables for two. All the food was cooked...

The rooms were in an annexe not in the actual homestay. They were pleasant and comfortable albeit smelt a bit damp/musty. We were very disappointed with the restaurant. It was more like a canteen and not what we expected at all.

We stayed at Pepper County as part of our Keralan tour. As per other reviews, Mr Cyriac was an hospitable host, entertaining us with stories of his family, giving tours of his impressive grounds etc. Our room was tasteful and the balcony experience was lovely. We appreciated the more simple food, having eaten curry for breakfast, lunch and dinner the...

Stayed here for 2 nights during our tour of Kerala, very friendly welcome, nice clean room, sometimes we had problem with electricity and no hot water but this didn't spoil our stay, lovely gardens to walk in lots of spices growing. The food was exceptional, all freshly cooked, they don't sell alcohol but you can take your own beer, breakfasts...

Not much I can add to previous reviews except to say thank you to Cyriac for such a lovely stay and welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days at his homestay and his stories and walking around his garden learning even more about the various spices. The rooms were modern, spacious and secluded with wonderful jungle views. The food was...

This is more like a hotel than a homestay but still has the personal touch if a homestay. Our room overlooked the forest and it was great on the balcony listening to all the birds and the cows lowing. Meals are served in an upstairs conservatory which had more of a canteen feel about it. The soup was delicious and...

We stayed here on a Kerala tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our first floor room gave a great view of the surrounding area and it was comfortable and well-furbished. We enjoyed the food, cooked before us by a lovely, humourous chef. There are only 6 or 7 rooms here so it feels very friendly. The owner, Cyriac, is so...

It felt really sociable to eat with other guests,(albeit at different tables, but all at the same time) and share our day's activities with one another. I...

This home stay is a real gem! The owner Cyriac is a wonderful host and very proud of his home and his garden growing all sorts of spices and fruit. He was very keen to take us for a walk through his acreage. We loved this place. Cyriac immediately made us feel like family. He couldn't do enough for us....
