I have always wanted to stay at this hotel and we booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. When we arrived the manager told us they were overbooked so we agreed to spend the first night in a modern annex. We didn't mind too much because we understand that these things happen. In recompense the manager said he'd upgrade us to...

Such a special hotel to stay. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the art work just gorgeous. Super helpful staff, friendly and excellent food at the restaurant. What a good space to start winding down after three weeks in crazy, chaotic and beautiful India.

This little boutique hotel is a transformed villa in a beautiful neighbourhood in Fort Cochin. Each room is different. We unfortunately had a smaller damp room in the ground floor and the tiny pool just behind the reception is not really meant to use but still this house is worth staying and practically in the centre of the old city.

This hotel in a heritage building blends a lovely collection of art and antiques with all the best modern conveniences. Behind the atrium reception is a courtyard with a pool, a shaded garden, and a fine restaurant. Evenings live music is performed in the courtyard for diners. The rooms have art and antiques as well, marble bathrooms with tub and...

This is a beautiful little hotel. The room was gorgeous and spotless, the hotel is lovely and the staff could not have been nicer. We were staying here as part of our honeymoon and they gave us some wine and a cake on the house as well as making up our room specially. The breakfast is delicious with a range...

This place has artistic ambience, great location (close to Biennale venues) and worth a visit for those who want to experience authenticity of Old Kerala culture! We lived at other hotel across the street & casually visited the Malabar restaurant for dinner. The kerala food did not disappoint us. Very pleasant manager Mr. Vinaya greeted us, recommended their specialities and...

We stayed in the Fort Kochi Beach Inn which is literally across the road from this hotel (much more basic and economical to stay) but hen came to Malabar House for dinner and drinks. The food was so delicious and very reasonably priced. They serve alcohol and have a fabulous wine bar. We also went for breakfast one morning which...

Hotel Malibar is in a fantastic location opposite St Francis Church. We had a suite with two covered balconies, one with a swinging bed, full of old colonial faded grandeur. Upstairs has a trendy bar, one of the few places in Kerala where you can find a gin and tonic. We will return.

This is a cute, small hotel in a beautifully-renovated historic building in the oldest part of Kochi - an area called Fort Cochin. It's a Relais and Chateaux property. The restaurant, located in the central courtyard under lit trees, has absolutely fabulous food and great service. We found the room rather small, and had some problems. The bed was very...

What had read that the Malabar House is a MUST. Well, it is not! Average location, not very welcomening check-in (incoming phone calls get priority!) and than the room: middle sized it was located at the corner of the restaurant and the pool terrace (with live music every evening), windows darkened... After a discussion with the manager we got another...
