Old beautiful building. Huge rooms with good, little loud A/C. Very calm neighbourhood and close to the famous fishernets. Mr. Vasanth was very helpful, gave good restaurant hints and other support. He is the good soul of this accomodation. Higgly recommended stay.

We were booked into the Victory Dawn for three nights, the hotel is well situated and has a lot of potential. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful but they have very limited resources. We arrived around 11h00 and the air conditioner in the room did not work. During the day three different people came through to try...

Great location, clean and tidy, good wifi but only in the lounge area, helpful staff and spaceous rooms but a very poor breakfast, noisy aircons and down stairs rooms have wooden ceilings above that can be a problem. Try the breakfast at Oy cafe and the Art cafe opposite it in Burger str.

We stayed for only one night, sandwiched between Munnar and a houseboat cruise. The rooms (we had 3 rooms for 9 of us, with an extra bed in each room) were very clean, spacious, comfortable and air conditioned, and did not feel at all cramped even with 3 to a room. Bathrooms were likewise spacious, and had adequate hot water...

Vasanth and his staff run a exceptionally clean and genuinely inviting accommodation. They attended my every need from arrival to arranging affordable transportation to the airport upon check out. The location is tranquil, the rates fair and it is super tidy. Book here and be happy with the offering of Vasanth and staff.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is my pleasure to introduce to you my latest hospitality venture, Victory Dawn in Fort Cochin. Following on the heels of the highly acclaimed boutique hotel Koder House, Victory Dawn is an attempt to bring yet another exclusive experience to discerning travelers. A former Tata tea company bungalow, Victory Dawn is set close to the beach and the Parade Ground in Fort Cochin - an area where English, Portuguese and Dutch influences abound. Tea cultivation and production played a very important role in the commercial history of Kerala and in its heyday, this tea bungalow hosted many influential officials. Like Koder House, Victory Dawn pays tribute to an era and preserves this atmosphere in an authentic manner. The bungalow offers six large rooms refurbished to retain all its age-old charm as well as modern facilities like internet data port and TV in each room, business centre, foreign exchange, electronic safe, doctor-on-call and laundry etc. We hope your patronage and support will continue to be with us as we embark on this new venture. Help us to make it a success as we attempt to give our distinguished guests yet another exclusive experience. ... more   less
