Great location, run by such a lovely family, great room, comfy, cool, wifi included, so accommodating and brilliantly helpful. Can walk everywhere from here. Nothing to knock it for. Thank you Pushbar.

Prices seem to have gone up in Kochi, but this place is still a good deal. Spotlessly clean and well run. Excellent location by Fort Cochin. The woman who seems to manage the place is very nice and helpful. Probably best not to talk to her brother about excursion tours in the Kerala area as he seemed to take offence...

Hi, Thanks for the good things you wrote in your review about us. However, we would like to make this point clear that we are not infomation centres who conduct excursions for the guests. Our priority is to sell our rooms and the related services. This gentlemen went around the town collecting prices for various trips and backwater cruises. He...

When checking availability of accommodation by email we were offered "AC cottages". We accepted and arrived late in the evening only to find that such accommodation does not exist - they are only rooms in an annex. We made our feelings clear about the misrepresentation, to no avail, and so left early next morning for better value and located accommodation...

Hi, We take very strong exception to the above irresponsible comment. We do have AC cottages in the ground floor. The same is listed by various guidebooks and that is how it is known among our customers for the last 12 years. The cottages comes with 1 living room + 1 bedroom, bathroom and an open veranda in the front....

We stayed at the Kapithan Inn with seven people (age 15 to 47) for two nights. We arranged the booking from Europe and the Kapithan family was very helpful regarding our questions. The Inn is located just off the "city centre" of Fort Kochi (5min walk to the ocean) and restaurants as well as supermarkets, ATMs and an internet cafe...

I've been coming to Kochi for nearly 40 years and over the last decade I've always stayed at the Kapithan Inn. It's clean, friendly and quiet and the owners and their family are always welcoming and helpful. It's also in a wonderful setting, with a large open space in front surrounded by old Dutch buildings and shaded by huge and...

Excellent location... a short walk from all the tourist sites yet far enough away not to be busy or a hassle. Very clean -- Pushpa and her husband are extremely friendly and give excellent information. Breakfast is not included...although you can pay for them to make you a simple breakfast.
