We had organised a bacherlorette party at this resort as it was pretty close to our place and had satisfied all the need and requirements we had in mind. The manager Mr. Sidharth was extremely helpful and managed to give us a good deal even though we told him we were on a tight budget being students. He catered to...

We stayed one night with a group, all arriving into Mangalore. We had a great welcome and the hotel could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. We didn't have time to take any of the excursions offered but there is plenty to do. The beach was not brilliant but there is a good swimming pool. The food...

We happened to stay here for a day. Christmas to be precise. The resort is huge. A 15 acre property. But the sight of reception itself is a let down. We were quite worried as we did not have any other options. Thankfully the rooms were okay. Better than what we expected. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were...

Hello. Please give our thanks to the Manager(s) and others for the wonderful room and bottle of sparkling wine for our Anniversary stay. We had an amazing time. The room was so comfortable, the food at Echo absolutely spectacular (we ate two meals there). Our waiters was just wonderful. Looking forward to staying with you in the future. What a...

We went for dinner during a lull in the monsoon, sat on the lawns outside and it was beautiful. The food was so so but the ambience was great. Then we went for lunch and got a glimpse of the beach. Ugh. Why can't the flotsam and jetsam be cleared? The dining hall was dingy and made us all the...

Place is too expensive for the price. As a mangalorean have been to this place several times. This resort has close proximity to the beach. Food is just okay. There are many other resorts around mangalore that have more to offer for much lesser price. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you have too mych money to waste

Stayed for the weekend in November with family. The 2 room villa is a nice option. Good amenities and good food. Not too many activities for small children - the sand pit could be improved. The resort is near the sea, but the beach is not really accessible. The service is good, and place is calm, peaceful and very green.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A 15 acre resort, with a 1000 running foot of beach, 42 spacious villas reminiscent of the British Era, but what entrances you as you enter the garbled gate is the sheer greenery of the place. The Terracotta villas, 500 palms and the 60 odd varieties of birds nesting in the resort make it a peaceful paradise. Children enjoy the Palm fringed fresh water swimming pool and the surrounding peace park and the large open areas with little fish ponds abounding with kois and goldfish to play and find friends. Summer Sands also has excellent conference facilities and the right ambiance. ... more   less
