Creating an atmosphere to tell our guests what Bangalore was and, what Bengaluru is. We pit these 2 fantastic eras of the city against each other and let our guests decide which Bangalore (or Bengaluru) they prefer. The hostel sleeps 30 people and has a weekly calendar of activities that bring alive our cities, our theaters of life. We want our guests running their Instagram fingers whilst exploring! Included in the price is free breakfast (Yes, every single day!) that includes local fare at our shared open kitchen for.Wooing our guests with the numerous functional areas in the property. Guests can get a Yoga session or lounge at our library. Our family of loving staff can provide the best stories and recommendations and try to teach our guests basic Kannada language. Such an easy going hostel, clean with welcoming friendly staff. Not only are they quick to save your ass when you leave your watch behind (massive thanks again) getting it whisked across town. Also setting up walking tours, a plentiful breakfast that changes type daily and an all round can do fun place. Great for letting you chat or allows peace and quiet if you need!! All round 5 star stay.

This hostel is set in a quiet shaded area. Within easy reach of convenience store shops and restaurants. The hostel is well run with very helpful and informative staff. Rooms and communal areas are clean and relaxing. It has a really nice vibe. If ever I return to Bangalore it would be high on my list.

I definitely enjoyed my stay there (2 Nights, Double Bedroom). The breakfast was different this two days and really good. The Staff was really friendly, talkative and helpful not just about Bengalore also to help you with your next steps on your travel. Room was really nice and clean.

I stayed at Locul Uptown for 28 nights as a part of a programme from university and never did I feel like I was away from home. The cozy atmosphere and facilities were so homy and the staffs were super friendly and helpful. Grace treated me like her younger sister and I can say that I’ve made lasting connections during my stay here. They also help you get around the city and give recommendations to make your exploration of Bangalore hassle-free. Remember to talk to the staffs if you’re curious about the city, they’re always happy to help. There is no doubt to if I’d choose to stay here again during my future visits to Bangalore. I’ve been loculised and I’d highly recommend everyone to do so too:)
