Feel alive after visiting this place. It Takes about 3 hrs from bangalore. The real thrill is 7KM stretch of dirt/rock/sand/dead branches track and this is the romance of the place. Its in the middle of no where, a perfect place to get lost. You'll find lots of different birds and can easily see crocodiles resting at reaver bank. The...

Went to Galibore more on a whim, on the way back from Bangalore. This place is a heaven send. Takes about 3 hrs from bangalore. The last 8 kms (as mentioned in the other reviews) is a dirt/rock/sand/dead branches track. Low ground clearance vehicles are going to find it pretty tough here. But this is the romance of the place....

Great weekend option from Bengaluru. Last ~7kms is off-road in the forest but very scenic (maybe challenging in wet conditions if not in a SUV or a dirt bike!). Accommodation is functional & simple. Plenty of monkeys, birds, crocodiles and some deer in the distance. Ideal for 1-2days as a quick de-stress in nature. Activities for the whole family.

We left Bangalore at 6am and were there by 9-930 am. The directions are not very clear. You need to speak to the property to get complete directions. The last couple of kms are rough. Having an SUV will help. As soon as we reached (earlier than check in) they offered to take us to a walk by the river....

It is a resort worth visiting once for the peaceful ambience it offers. Near to cauvery river and green hills its a peaceful place. Managed to see 2 big crocodiles during coracle ride which was icing on cake. Evening time snacks by riverside was the best part. Pollution free sky enables to see lot of stars which we never see...

Nestled away just 90 kms from Bengaluru, Galibore Nature Camp offers a nice getaway from the city. Easily reachable by road, this camp proves full value for money in terms of accommodation, food, activities, and overall experience. I had been here specifically for bird watching and photography. The naturalists are very courteous and knowledgeable. Enjoy the coracle ride, barbeque with...

Galibore Nature Camp (was known as Cauvery Fishing Camp) is less than 110 Km from Bangalore, making it an ideal weekend getaway. We came for just one night - checked in on Saturday noon and out by Sunday 11 AM. An ideal nature fix, if you've been in the city for a long stretch. We left Bangalore at 8.30 AM...

Galibore was exciting. We plunged into the water not knowing and seeing the board...beware of crocodiles... The food was ok. But the snacks at the riverside during the bonfire at night was good. The traditional boat ride ...was great. We saw plenty of river dolphins. The coral boat ride was beautiful with scenic mountains ahead and crocodiles around. The jeep...

Good services . . . Good Location . . . Drinks needs to be served . . . . WiFi connectivity is important for the business trips, so that needs to be available . . . Food - Night dinner was bad but the lunch & breakfast was good.
