Name is big, hotel is big, but staying there is total waste...!!! Did not get the facilities for the payment I did, complimentary breakfast is there, but there is no variety of food, only idlis, bread-butter-jam, complete failure in cleaning part...!!!
I had stayed in this hotel in the month of August for couple of days. The first experience was truly pathetic with me waiting in the reception and the manager was abusing his staff for something he has done in front of me. I am myself a hotelier and I can understand that there is a lot of training issues in the hotel. Food was pathetic and the only grace is that the room is nice. Need to buckle up guys...
Hotel A J International is very ideal location and property for conducting interviews. We had seen more than 150 candidates in one single day and the hotel is capable of holding and managing big crowd. The rooms are convenient and moderate. Centre of the city and proximity to Bus station. Overall a value for money proposal.
I believe this is how service should be! I've never experienced it at a Western hotel but I am enjoying it here in India! From the moment you arrive, not only is the hotel gorgeous but the staff are amazing too! I arrived very late from Europe yesterday and it was as though they were waiting for me. My check-in process was exemplary and my room fantastic. The room is spacious and clean. I was upgraded (full disclosure I am a frequent Marriott customer) so the regular room may be smaller. In the morning ,I had a delicious breakfast and the staff could not have been nicer. I wanted for nothing. Overall, this is a great place to stay, it's beautiful with amazing service and incredible amenities. I also feel very safe here. The protocols to get into the hotel are quite good. Only downside, the grounds around the hotel are not so great. There's a lot of construction, half-construction, a bit of the "ramshackle" that you can expect in this part of the world, but nothing outrageous. The construction didn't wake me up but looking out the window, that is what you see.…
I booked Reception Hall on 5th Oct 2013 and found to be cheated and robbed at the last moment. During initial booking, The so called manager said you confirm the booking and we will give you the discounts during final bill settlement. We agreed and moved on with the booking. Later he called and said to make more than 50% of payment as a booking confirmation, After paying 50% of the amount he promised to make necessary arrangements and we left happily from there. On the day of marriage reception (ie., Valima), when i arrived with my bride to the hotel, i found caterer, flowerist and all standing with there complaints... Complaint #1: manager didn't allow to take the food vessels inside Comlaint #2: didn't allow Paan wala inside the premises Complaint #3: Didn't allow Flowerist to make the decoration properly (as they were not the hotel staff or hired by hotel) Compalint $4: spolied the complete restuarant seating area. it was not as we had planned. Finally a shocking moment: Hotel didn't even arranged a seating chair for the bride and groom, which they did say during booking that they will provide. When i went to the manager, he was like i should be knowing what they give and what they wont as if i organize receptions every forth night in that hotel. There was no board displaying the names and reception area. on question manager replied, they are not bothered what is happening, instead we should come forward and give details to them. On questioning about the complaints of caterer, flowerist and all, he replied they are creating dirt and all.. when checked, i couldnt find a little dirt... then manager replied his staff as cleaned up the area and he charged 2000 Rs to me for that. As a proof of cleaning he agreed to show me the CC footage, later denied saying that his system admin left for the day. then he demanded 1000 Rs more for the Bride groom seat. Things didnt end up here. he came and said if people increase more than 300 head count, he will again put extra charges. if reception continues after 11.30 pm, he will charge even for that on hourly basis. now the best part, photo shoot is going on, manager appears and switch off the lights, AC.... on request, he agreed to extend it for 30 min, with in which we winded up the things in hurry and couldn't do things as planned. All thanks to manager (mujeeb)... People can decide now.....…
